of the year. I’ve got a lot to do today and tomorrow so I’m not going to spend a lot of time on this today. Tomorrow I’ll be posting an article I wrote for Rhythms magazine in 1999. It’s quite entertaining (I think). Over at CBS’s Twitter feed Catherine Herridge is predicting in 2024, the U.S. may have “a national security event with high impact that’s very hard to predict,” pointing to ongoing wars and U.S. division as factors creating “fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea, China and Iran” to take advantage of. pic.twitter.com/Vx8MTnn1W8 Well, that’s interesting. Anything to stop Trump winning the election, or even having an election in the first place. Why is this wretched woman saying this? Does she know something we don’t? If she does, she’d better be reporting it to the authorities. This kind of bullshit is typical of the alphabet channels, who would like nothing more than World War Three to break out. Then everyone would stop noticing that most of what they say is gaslighting, disinformation and lies.
There’s a Black Swan up ahead…
It’s too late now. Musk’s Twitter is demolishing the fake news on a daily basis by allowing people to freely express reality. X/Twitter is a shit show, of that there is no doubt, but now it’s an equal opportunity shit show, and not a one-way echo chamber of progressive horse crap. I’ve seen things on X lately that I’d never thought would ever appear there. If people are paying attention like they seem to be, it’s only a matter of time before quite a few sacred cows are going to get their marching orders. A lot of people have decided that they don’t want to be slaves to political correctness and progressive tyranny any more. There’s a light on the horizon, assuming we can avoid Herridge’s “Black Swan” event.
The Blackpool Tower opened in 1894
In other news ” a fire has broken out at Blackpool Tower, in the UK with emergency services called to the iconic attraciton.” That typo isn’t mine btw, it’s from the Yahoo News website Independent Newspaper story. Misspellings are now constant everywhere. A day doesn’t go by when you see them on TV or in an online newspaper. I make ’em here all the time, but I’m not getting paid, nor do I have a proofreader. But back to the fire….this started about half an hour ago, so there isn’t much info. By the time you read this, it will be either burnt to the ground, or the fire will be out. Is this a Black Swan event? There’s the word “black” in the title….I don’t much care either way. “It has been reported that people on the promenade are “confused and panicking”. Of course…..nobody has ever seen a fire before. And they call this news. Update: it was actually orange netting….no fire whatsoever….For fuck’s sake.
That’s it. I’m going to go about my business now. Tomorrow’s journal will be a rerun of something I wrote more than 20 years ago. It’ll be more fun than a box of Special K.
