today is, will my truck get fixed? It could be the same question tomorrow, but the guy said he would call me this week. This cat is a bit of an odd character. If one day he decided to build a killdozer and go on a rampage I wouldn't be surprised.
He's a freethinker, let's put it that way. There are a few left in the world. I'd like to think that this journal has some elements of that. To get to that place though, there are a few bridges you must cross. The lies of manufactured history, and the stench of progressive ideology that is rained down upon everyone 24/7. If there was a literal lake of fire that someone could be in, we're in it.
The question is how to survive? Maybe we'll leave that to another day.
I've got a lot of things to do in the next couple of weeks, so I can't sit around trying to explain the universe. I've decided to stop watching the so-called news for a while. I don't think I could stand the gibbering idiots and their analysis of what's happening in the world at the moment. They mostly make me want to throw a brick through the TV.
Since I've already had first breakfast which was a combination of first and second, I can continue the day unabated. What was it? A ham and cheese croissant if you must know. I buy a 12 pack of croissants from the store, but I never get through them, so now I have to have one almost every day. The last box I bought quickly started to go off in the horrible heat and humidity of September this year.
I finally got my passport which was rather disappointing because it was listed as special 250th Anniversary edition. It wasn't much different from the other one I had. They got it to me quickly though. Now I am free to travel to any number of shitholes in the world, including the South Pacific.
An email from APRA (Australian Performing Rights Association) flew into my in box this morning. It was talking about something called the National Songbook.
It said,
"The National Songbook is a new annual initiative celebrating and preserving the songs that have helped shape Australia’s cultural identity
Celebrated at a special event at the NFSA in Canberra, The National Songbook honours the songs, songwriters and composers whose creative vision has given voice to Australian stories
The songs were chosen by a panel of eminent industry experts, chaired by APRA Chair Jenny Morris MNZM OAM and NFSA Chair Annette Shun Wah"
A panel of eminent industry experts? I don't recall I was consulted, but never mind. I guess I don't have enough letters after my name or something. Anyhoo, if anyone is interested I'll post a link to it here.
The number one song (is it a top ten?) was "Bed's Are Burning" by Midight Oil, which in my opinion is a self righteous, self loathing lecturing (as if anyone asked you) rewrite of history which demonizes the people who built a functioning and successful civilization. The entire song is a groveling apology with no basis for argument other than vague references to the Western Desert and broken down Holden cars. It's nonsense. The "First Nations" people may have left them there after they possibly stole them and drove them into the ground. The truth isn't as wonderful as you are led (by the nose) to believe. The chorus goes thus...
"The time has come
A fact's a fact
It belongs to them
Let's give it back"
Interestingly the lyrics don't exactly say who "them" are. Do we get to keep all the stuff we invented and put there, before we give it back to them? I would posit that if that's the case we should go all the way back to the beginning. Perhaps the Cro-Magnons should give "it" back to the Neanderthals. As Jim Hamill of the Kingsmen says, "If you're gonna do it, do it!"
What most people fail to realize is that today the Neanderthals aren't asking for it back, they're just taking it by any means possible. The Cro-Magnons haven't a clue it's even happening at all.
Good Day.
ps, my version below is much better
