I’m a gonna try and talk about anything other than politics today, it’s boring. (yes, I said I’m a-gonna) There was a storm yesterday afternoon which cooled things down a little bit. It’s still hot n’ humid however. I’ve taken to driving my good car around the place because the BMW steering is starting to get very stiff. Getting stiff is great in the right situation with a lady, but not when you’re trying to steer a motor car. I’ll have to take it to the Porsche people to fix. They do Beemers as well, and probably will be expensive. The cheap guy I know is in Vermont, but I don’t feel like driving 250 miles to take it to him. I’ve got too many cars anyway. I never thought I’d be saying that, but there you are. I want to sell the BMW but not when it’s almost undriveable.

See, I’ve gotten to this point without talking about politics. Yesterday I had to dismantle Rick’s drumkit and put up the “circus kit” as Patrick likes to call it. It sounds like shit compared to Rick’s kit in my opinion, but I’m not playing the drums this Sunday. (even though I could!) What’s gonna happen? I dunno. I haven’t seen Randy the guitar player for about 5 years. The fake pandemic threw everyone into a funk where they didn’t or couldn’t go anywhere for a while. Now things are somewhat getting back to normal, although thankfully not the “new normal” that the covid assholes kept talking about.

So far so good. On Sunday I’d like to try out a few new songs. If Taylor Swift can release a new album then so can I. She’s released 12 albums, but I’ve released more than twice that including the Slaughtermen and everything else. That being said, I should be at least as rich and famous as Taylor, and I own all my own recordings and publishing. I think I’m better than her too. Well, I wouldn’t even compare the two of us. She’s never gonna be in my league. It’s an unfair comparison actually.
I have created my own sane reality contrary to what record companies and corporate entertainment behemoths have manufactured with their enormous and almost total control over every aspect of the media. The multitudes have accepted and bought all of this corporate slop because of what they have been told they should consume. If you don’t understand how garbage rap “music” became popular, that is the reason.
I know this is totally gay, but I kinda like it.
It’s not so much about the music as the cameraderie, group think and massive publicity campaigns that drives these things. I don’t care if Taylor Swift has sold millions of albums. It’s not important in my scheme of things. Not enough people have heard of me, or heard what I do, that’s all. You can help change that by subscribing to my youtube channel. That really is the only difference between me and Taylor Swift and what she’s achieved, and with a lot of help from multiple people. I don’t want to talk about Taylor Swift any more, she’s shallow and musically uninteresting to me.
I’ve just looked at the extended forecast. 91 on Sunday, perfect. At least it cools down at night. Wednesday will be 77. Why can’t it be 77 on Sunday? That’s the hottest day in the next seven days! Just to continue on with the weather, it’s been a horrible June and July, but maybe by September it might start to cool down. It’s very good for the garden, and in a about four months from now it will probably be snowing again. I think I prefer this. I have to cut the grass out the front, but it beats dragging a snowblower around in the freezing cold. If this is global warming, I’m good with it. Until it’s warm like this all year round there is no global warming, and I don’t see that happening.

Tomorrow I’m going to post a new video, but today it’s something from 2015’s Per Sempre. Another Wet Kimono Night. Randy Bulpin on guitar and lots of interesting horn parts and most other stuff played by me…..Can TS do that? No. In fact this entire album is pretty good and probably worth a listen.
