weekend is over. I’m exhausted. At least it’s not a heatwave like they have in the UK. They’re screaming about it all day long there. They’re nothing if not dogmatic about their “Climate Change” God bless ’em. After assembling the BBQ on the weekend I fired it up yesterday. It works great. I realized it’s exactly the same size as the old one, so nothing much had changed. It cost less because I had to build it myself, that’s all.
Now that summer has unofficially started there are plenty of things to do around here. A one hundred and thirty year old house always needs things fixed. I’m waiting for Steve the guy who fixes the hard stuff to make contact, but he’s disappeared. Probably after seeing what I wanted him to do he found something more appealing. I don’t know.
