what?

Real photograph, not staged

“We are here because we are fighting for a democracy,” “Fighting for a democracy. “And understand the difference here, understand the difference here, moving forward, moving forward, understand the difference here,” Kamala Harris said at a rally yesterday.

As far as I know the United States was founded as a Constitutional Republic, but all we hear these days is democracy. democracy, democracy. If you do an internet search, all you will find are articles saying America became a democracy somewhere along the line. Naturally, one would expect this since we are now deeply entrenched in Orwellian rewriting of history largely facilitated by search engines like Bing.

Google and very often biased left wing opinions found in the the internet’s self appointed encyclopedia, Wikipedia. In other words you can’t trust anything online any more. If the democracies we see around the world are any indication of what one looks like, they ain’t up to scratch. Around where I live there are mostly Harris Walz signs. This area is infested with people whose electoral choices are formed by how much left wing propaganda they have ingested. It’s a lot, some might say a terminal amount. At one house there is a little banner that says, “Democracy or Dictatorship? The choice is clear.”

I don’t want either of these things. I’ll stick with a Constitutional Republic, thanks. There’s no talking to these people. They’ll never get it. I’d rather not talk about it either, so I’ll stop.

The New York Post has a story today about McDonalds “bringing back a fan favorite”. What could that be, I wondered? It turns out it’s Spicy Chicken Nuggets. I’ve not had any experience as far as I know, of eating these.

Would you like some extra large Maga fries with that?

The whole concept of “nuggets” seems so grotesque in the first place that it puts me off. I have eaten chicken “nuggets” from somewhere in the past. I can’t really describe it, but it wasn’t anything I’d want to repeat. Some people are desperate for them to be made a permanent feature of the menu. ““KEEP THESE PERMANENTLY, these with their ranch is euphoric,” said someone. I’ve never heard anything bought from a fast food chain described as euphoric, but there’s always a first time.

Yesterday is was quite warm and today it is almost the same. It’s like being in Hawaii. If this is “global warming”, I’ll take it, it’s great. No more heating bills for a start. It’s a false hope though, next week it will probably be snowing.

This is the weather forecast here today. There’s a Red Flag up ahead. This seems like a good time to post that song of the same name I wrote in 2018, and finish up this Friday’s journal. I’m also posting the lyrics so you can sing along.

Happy Friday

Red Flag – words and music by Ian Stephen

Have we grown tired of looking for a pot of gold?

We’re not inspired by the things that we’ve been told

Lost souls are callin’ all their patrons to the farms

Misguided notions and bankrupted alarms

There will be no peace in the Middle East, not now or ever

There is no despair if you understand the weather

Back up the van and get into the fight

Do not go screaming into the night

Many people have lost their collective minds

Starin’ at the moon is gonna make you blind

There’s a Red Flag up ahead

Say ain’t so, it’s not said

There’s a Red Flag, a Red Flag

There’s a Red Flag up ahead

I made this video a while ago. It’s extremely goofy and I look like a retard. No wonder it’s only had 62 views in 2 years. I like it though.
