Yesterday afternoon rapper and music mogul Sean P Diddy Combs houses were raided by Federal agents. Homeland Security did not confirm the reason for the raids, but the Associated Press reported that two officials said it was part of an alleged sex trafficking investigation. His private jet was tracked to Antigua yesterday, but nobody seems to know if he was on it or not. TMZ posted a Tweet which showed Diddy pacing around Miami airport. There was another Tweet by a guy named Jack Sweeny who specializes in tracking celebrity private flights which said, “Diddy’s jet N1969C flew to the Caribbean island of Antigua amid the trafficking investigation of him, but various sources confirmed that the rapper was not on board.” So where is he then? These questions must be answered, people want to know.

So much stuff has been happening lately, it’s hard to keep up. First we had the Princess of Wales cancer story, which was followed by the terrorist attack in Moscow and now the ship running into the bridge in Maryland. Some one Tweeted the video of what happened when the ship hit the bridge. I have no idea what caused it so I looked for comments by “experts”. The first comment from R Bishop said, “Ship went dark twice before it hit, mechanical failure, loss of steerage. After 20 years in the Navy, I’ve been on ships that lost power and steerage, you have no control, also before the impact, you see black smoke coming out of the stack, that is a sign of engineering failure.” Seems legit to me, but what do I know? The ship was leaving port, so at least those people who spend all their lives buying shit on Amazon won’t be traumatized if their latest useless purchase which will end up in the landfill, won’t get there tomorrow.

I’ve got a slight headache today. I blame it on the full moon. New York hotels are making millions from harboring illegal aliens. The Roosevelt makes $26.6M a month. It’s all taxpayer money. Remember when they talk about a “cost of living crisis”, there’s no crisis at all when it comes to paying for an illegal invasion, sending millions to Ukraine and Israel, to fight wars and throwing cash at “Net Zero” initiatives. It would be interesting to know who contributes to the national economy and who takes from it. I think the USA would be a whole lot richer without a lot of the people who are on welfare, who could be working, that’s all.

Francis Scott Key was the author of the text of the U.S. national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”. Key observed the British bombardment of Fort McHenry in 1814 during the War of 1812. He was inspired upon seeing the American flag still flying over the fort at dawn and wrote the poem “Defence of Fort M’Henry”; it was published within a week with the suggested tune of the popular song “To Anacreon in Heaven”. The song with Key’s lyrics became known as “The Star-Spangled Banner” and slowly gained in popularity as an unofficial anthem, finally achieving official status more than a century later under President Herbert Hoover as the national anthem.
