After the weekend’s

annoyances which carried over into yesterday, I’m hoping today is a bit more user friendly. It probably won’t be, but what day is anymore? People wander about in a daze, you can’t tell them anything, their heads would explode if they really knew what was going on in the world. Maybe that’s changing, I hope so. There may be no future at all otherwise.

I’m looking at a band rehearsal on Thursday. Not so much of a rehearsal, but more of a performance. We don’t rehearse per se, it’s a show as far as I’m concerned. If you wanna see a show, it’s on Youtube. I have the equipment to live stream it, but I don’t have anyone to operate said equipment. I can’t do it all unfortunately. Therefore if you wanna see the closest thing to a live performance with me and my band, this is it.

The last Youtube music posting which was from last week has now gotten 7 views. This is the equivalent of playing somewhere for 7 nights and one person showed up each time. In fact maybe 2 or three showed up on one day, then a couple of days nobody showed up. We’re playing to an empty room. It’s quite funny when you think about it, but I don’t care. I’ve said more than once that I’m not doing it because I think it’s what people want. I’m doing it because I like it. I’m so far ahead of everyone that of course nobody shows up. I’m not even in the room that they’re in, I’m on a different wavelength and I really mean that.

As time goes on I’m liking the music that I used to enjoy less and less. It’s not a hard and fast rule however. I think the 80’s were possibly one of the worst decades for popular music. The fucking hair bands and the synth monkeys. Recordings are too echoey, and all blown out. The drums sound like shit. The singing sounds like shit. The people….well, I’d better not say. Frank Zappa said it’s the kind of music that was created when people were using cocaine, and I think there was a lot of it around at the time. If you were ever wondering how something like the Slaughtermen came into existence, it was because of the excremental musical garbage that was a lot of the 80’s.

Well, this morning I finally managed to buy the air conditioner that I was looking for. There was supposed to be one left at this particular store, and try as I might, I could not find it. There were lots of other brands on sale but not the one I wanted. Just as I was walking towards the door to leave I saw it right at the top of a very high empty shelf. It was almost invisible. Persistence pays off I guess.

Good Day

I actually like this one
