dullness, there are a few more interesting news items today. The NY Post all day yesterday and even this morning were loudly declaring that Jimmy Kibble was back on TV. Big deal. Read the comments though and nobody likes him, and I mean nobody, so I don’t know why they even bothered. On the BBC this morning they were shreiking about Trump and how he told everyone (pregnant women) not to use Tylenol. “Don’t listen to Trump”, they said. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, our English doctors know what’s best. Trump’s an idiot, they may as well have been saying. I don’t think it was Trump that decided Tylenol was bad, but let’s ignore that part.
Trump will be speaking at the UN later on today. I hope the security is good because in the current political climate anything could happen. Israel isn’t happy that the world is turning against them, so they need for people to realize what a real threat Hamas is.

Also from the Post, in Florida “an alleged drunk driver is accused of running down a single mother on an e-bike in Florida and driving for eight blocks with her stuck in his windshield before being arrested at a liquor store.” Where have we seen this before? What is wrong with these people? People? Who drives for eight blocks with a body stuck in their windshield?

Today’s AMRAP Australian “Music is Bloody Great” entry is something called June Jones. I say “something”, because I’m not sure what it is. The publicity blurb says thus.. “June Jones is an enigmatic force of DIY alt-pop who has been turning heads since the release of their first record Diana 2019. Objectively a romantic at heart, and while working on a new album, it was realised that the collection of songs currently produced were their own entanglement of visibility and vulnerability.” I think it’s one of those they/their trannys, but they have scored the DEI trifecta. Under “identity” they have listed themselves as Female, LGBTQI+, Person of Disability, and Trans. You simply can’t beat that you losers.

I listened to some of “it’s” music. That ‘s definitely a heavily processed man’s voice, so I don’t know what to think. TBH I’d rather not think about it at all, but hey, whatever. Melbourne has turned into a shithole from all impressions I get, which are mostly from the internet now. I haven’t been there for maybe ten years now? I can’t remember. I do remember however, one of the last times I was there being stuck in the city with no way to get home other than a taxicab. Thirty years ago that was the case and nothing had changed in the entire time I’d been away. I could not believe it.
Trump is speaking at the UN as I write this. He’s talking about nukes. “We have many”, and don’t you forget. Now he’s talking about Hamas. “Release the hostages”. No word about recognizing Palestine as a state. It’s all about the hostages. Now he’s talking about Ukraine. We’ve heard it all before. “Europe’s buying oil and gas from Russia while fighting Russia.” “They’re not gonna like hearing it, but I speak my mind.” “Uncontrolled migration is ruining everyone’s country and the UN is supporting it”. He’s savaging the UN now. “The UN is supposed to stop invasions but it’s supporting them and financing them.” Good.
Oh, this speech is staring to get good. Trump is trashing the whole Green energy industry. He’s not holding back at all. I agree with everything he’s saying.
