I’m not a fan but he couldn’t do much worse than the current clown. (Maybe he could?) I don’t go down there much these days. It’s lost it’s appeal. In the past I have done writing classes, comedy classes, and just roamed around the streets, but the fake pandemic turned everything to shit, so I’ve lost interest. I was probably in NYC, I’m guessing.. about 6 months ago. I think it was for a meeting with the Australian Performing Rights Association. A few ex-pats had lunch with the LA rep. It was nice, and she paid for it. I met up with Maria from TSK TSK TSK, who lives in Brooklyn now. Other than that, I’ve not been there. I have never had the desire to live in the city, but I’ve lived in cities before. It’s too noisy and crowded for me. Even this small town is too crowded, although since the last bunch of neighbors moved out, it’s been an improvement. For the first time in probably ever, I walked out the front to retrieve the garbage can and there was zero trash on the nature strip as far as I could see. This was a first.

I’m not holding my breath that it will stay that way, but I’ll take it while I can. The noise here mostly comes from overhead. There is an airport nearby and this house is on the flight path. Gigantic C17 freighters pass overhead at 10,000 feet or less, and they come in waves. Some days there are 6 in a row at a time. They are like armoured pigeons coming home to roost. I don’t mind it at all really unless I’m trying to mix some music. There are also trains down by the river that can be annoying. At 2 am they will blow their horns as they come through. It may be to scare hobos off the tracks, I don’t know. A few years ago a huge diesel freight engine jumped the tracks and onto the road. The grooves in the asphalt are still there to this day. Why am I talking about this stuff?

I’m beginning to bore myself, but I did start out with Andrew Cuomo wanting to be NYC’s next mayor, so it just degenerated from there. The story comes from theindependentsentinel.com. The comments are amusing..
“That god dammed idiot is no better than the brain dead ****** they have now.”
“The rich spoiled brat Cuomos think the world revolves around them. His life not being a big shot is miserable to him. A known abuser is not going to be allowed to be mayor of NYC.”
“The guy responsible for causing the untimely deaths of thousands of elderly people still wants to be in politics?”
“NYC is the largest Democrat voter warehouse in the world, all he has to do is make a bunch of useless promises and they’ll elect him.”
“Far easier to get off for groping vs mass-murdering senior citizens in nursing homes.”

Eh, whaddya want from me?
and finally.. “NY will reelect him, too. Insane.” The paper goes on to say, “Andrew Cuomo wants to be the next mayor of New York City, but he is the one who pushed for the no-bail reform that is destroying New York.”
I fear that the once great New York, New York is going to devolve into a dysfunctional dangerous cesspool like San Francisco, London, or Paris. Illegal Immigration, progressive ideas and incompetent politicians will destroy what civilization has built. More tolerance for bad behavior means the worse things will become. We need intolerance now more than ever. That’s all, I’m out of ideas. The news is still the same old crap. We’re all just waiting around for the next IDF “accidental” bombing of civilians. It seems like it’s a daily occurrence now, and nobody does a thing except kvetch about it and wring their hands.
Here’s a track about NYC from my new album – Everything’s a Lie.
