another page. Last night I watched the latest Godzilla movie. It reminded me of being in Tokyo a few years ago. Somewhere in the city there is a statue of Godzilla, albeit nothing as huge as the “real” Godzilla. I have a picture of myself standing near it (below) . It was being repaired at the time, so the workmen are manhandling it in the background.

As you can imagine, Godzilla has its own Wikipedia page which tells you that “Godzilla is a fictional monster, or kaiju, that debuted in the eponymous 1954 film, directed and co-written by Ishirō Honda”. “Godzilla has starred in a total of 38 films: 33 Japanese films produced and distributed by Toho Co., Ltd. and five American films, one produced by TriStar Pictures and four produced by Legendary Pictures”. Godzilla has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest-running film franchise in history. Take that you cartoon monkeys.

I don’t have much more to say about this, so I won’t. I will admit that it’s very hard to find anything that I want to watch these days. At least 80% of movies are garbage, and if there is even a hint of “diversity and inclusion” I’m not watching it. It’s mostly kids stuff anyway now. A person tends to not want to waste time sitting in front of digital tripe after a while.

I’d rather wander around Tokyo for days. There is a great second hand music instrument store about an hour by train out of Tokyo, called “Hard Off”. It is part of a chain of “Off” stores “Book Off” is another one, etc etc.. Picrel above is a list of all of them. I have a guitar strap from Hard Off. It has “Hard Off” printed on it. All this talk about guitar stores and Tokyo is giving the the opposite of a hard off. Tokyo is a strange, fascinating place. After staying there for a week, I’m convinced there is a lot of viagra in the Tokyo water supply. Don’t ask me how I know.
Still ongoing is the endless screeching from every country affected by Trump’s “crazy” tariffs. None of these idiots have addressed the fact that without doing something about the massive deficit, the US may well go bankrupt. That’s one of the reasons Trump is doing this in the first place.

Did the media clowns even read what was on here? You wouldn’t think so by the way they’re reacting.
All day long we’re hearing how terrible it will be for the world’s economy. Trump’s tariffs on other countries are half of what they charge us. Fifty percent. You can clearly see it when he holds up the chart. What do we get from the media and the experts? Nothing….apart from hysteria. Kids, if Mom and Dad go bankrupt, you’ll all be in an economic foster home.
