It’s the Day after Xmas, and I haven’t even looked at the news yet. I turn to the New York Post for that. “All the trimmings Lean-looking Elon Musk reveals stunning weight loss in festive Santa post — and how he did it.” So nothing is happening. Musk is getting way too much air time at the moment. The story goes on A lean-looking Elon Musk revealed Wednesday that he uses Mounjaro — after previously expressing support for similar weight-loss drugs as a means to curb America’s obesity epidemic.” Musk dubbed himself “Ozempic Santa” in the X post, noting it’s “Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!”

Oh well, even billionaires want to look good, and they’ll take the easy way out to do it so it seems. I wouldn’t take that shit, but then I’m not a fat fuck with bad eating habits. To put this in perspective Whoopi Goldberg takes it, so enough said. I don’t care about these people at all. It’s a nice sunny day here, just above freezing. I’ll probably go for a walk later. Other than that, I’ll continue with my winter clean up. The music room has been decluttered somewhat now. The old Hammond church organ has been shifted back into the section where the grand piano is, so there’s more space for more musicians. I’d still like a key board player but they’re hard to find.
I’ve decided to go on a fast today. I’m not really hungry anyway. I have done this from time time. About a day is all I can take, but it’s good to let your insides have a rest I think. Taking a weight loss drug isn’t for me, but if it helps other people, great.
I bought a new (second hand) amp last week. It’s a Fender Super Twin, one of the loudest amps Fender ever made. It weighs about 90 pounds. It is loud but you can tweak it so that you cut the power in half. At that point it will be as loud as the Fender Twin Reverb which is still very loud. Yesterday I was re arranging some of the pedals that I have. In the process I discovered how some of them actually work. This was quite an eye opener because I’ve had one pedal for about five years and hadn’t really understood it’s functions properly.

Another pedal which was an Ernie Ball tremelo pedal, I have never used because I didn’t particularly like the way it sounded. I figured out that I could ditch the tremelo part and just use the reverb with the foot pedal to add or subtract the amount of echo. This allowed me to ditch the other two echo reverb pedals that I now didn’t need. This is how exciting things are this week.
Meanwhile, over at the Daily Mail, CNN have decided that nobody is watching their network because they’re not going hard enough against Trump. Ok, good luck with it.
