The 12th was Lincoln’s birthday. Sunday was the Stupid Bowl, Tuesday was Fat Tuesday aka Mardi Gras and yesterday was Valentine’s Day. Today is just a boring Thursday so far. Next Monday is Washington’s birthday and that’s about it for February.
What am I gonna do today? Continue working on my new releases if Windows 10 doesn’t keel over and die on me like it did yesterday. God I hate it so much. The last good Windows was Windows XP I believe, but it won’t install on my new desktop for some reason. I’m not talking about computers all day, anyway. I might go for a walk and think of something else to say and come back to this.

Apropos of nothing, Green’s State MP for inner city parts of Melbourne, (Doctor) Tim Read said “It’s time to hold Victoria’s big coal polluters to account. They caused this mess, now they can pay to clean it up,” Does this midwit not know that the power supply was fine, it was the transmission towers that fell over? How does he think solar panels and wind towers work? Would they be impervious to the same conditions, or are they magically exempt? Who elects these fucking morons into public office?

And I want to see better bike lanes, and sustainable transport options in our area.” Do you? Inner city Melbourne, specifically Brunswick which I know very well, is already infested with traffic calming devices. It’s a living hell trying to navigate a car through these fucked up suburbs. In the peak traffic times, hundreds of bike riders come out onto the roads like cockroaches, it’s a sight to behold. They take up half the fucking street with their “bike lanes”. There are many electric trams that regularly go from the city, as well as buses. You don’t need any more “sustainable transport options”, whatever the fuck they even are. It sounds good though, which is the whole point.

This is what ultra left wing sometimes propagandist Wikipedia says about it, It is “a trace gas in Earth’s atmosphere at 421 parts per million” That’s 0.04% of the atmosphere, up (allegedly) from pre-industrial levels of 280 ppm or about 0.025%.

Without it, all life as we know it on Earth would disappear. C02 is the building block of our existence. At the planetary level, “carbon dioxide is a miracle molecule for plants – and the “gas of life” for most living creatures on Earth.” Eliminate carbon dioxide, and plants would shrivel and die. So would lake and ocean phytoplankton, grasses, kelp and other water plants. After that, animal and human life would disappear.“
