loicense? It’s a tough question for a Monday morning, but apparently you do need one to watch government propaganda these days. It’s odd to say the least.

I did finally get my plumbing fixed up at Ray’s old place on the weekend. If you’re wondering who Ray is, you haven’t been reading this journal regularly. I had to go to the Home Depot twice, because as I predicted once I had fixed what I thought was the final break, another one literally sprang forth as soon as I turned the water back on.. That made a grand total of six this year. The whole system needs to be pulled out and replaced. Whoever lives there next can do it. They’ll probably bulldoze the joint and start over.

It’s Monday. I’ll be in Florida this time next week, so maybe I’ll write things from there, maybe I’ll take the whole week off? There are no archives here, so whatever’s the daily fare, that’s all anyone is going to get, I’m afraid. I don’t really want people sifting back through the what I said five years ago which is when I started writing this. A lot of it was political and therefore very one-sided. I don’t want to be political any more although it’s hard not to be sometimes.

The band is coming over tomorrow. I want to add a piano keyboard to the mix. I think I want to play a couple of songs on piano and ditch the guitar for a moment to make it more interesting. For me, anyway. The song I posted on Friday has had 8 views. A year ago I was averaging about 150 views, although some of that has been incremental over time. I’m not doing anything different, so it’s baffling.

Over on the Spotify streaming side of things the statistics are still the same. I average about 20 – 40 downloads a week, and last week it was Slaughtermen heavy. Most of my listeners were in Australia. Over a 90 day period the list is still Slaughtermen heavy, even though the Slaughtermen haven’t played a show for probably more than ten years now, and unlikely to ever play one again. I guess it’s something I’ll have to live with until people start paying attention to what I’m doing on my own.

The digital download component tells a completely different story however. It’s almost all my stuff, including a recent surge in downloads of Sabrage tunes. These are instrumental albums and there are three different ones. Great Wall of Sound, This is Very Gay and Barbaric, the latter I’d completely forgotten about. As well as that, my other projects that can be downloaded or streamed are Far Out Man, F, and Go Wild in French. So much output, yet so little return.
This is my life..you’re welcome.
Good Day.
