300k worth of NVIDIA’s B200 Chips to use in xAI. Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta has amassed one of the largest stashes of the H100 GPUs in the world, amounting to around 350,000 units. What these two clowns propose to do with this stuff remains to be seen. Zuckerberg is such a dope that nothing will come of it most probably. He may try and use AI to help steal the 2024 election. This guy is a serial election interferer, that’s well documented. I wonder what’s happening in the Metaverse these days? The cartoonish stupidy of it’s rollout still comes to mind whenever I think about it, which is not often.

I’d rather jump into an open volcano than hang out with these idiots.
A Metaverse with Beavis and Butthead would be more appealing. What will AI do? Nobody really knows, but it’s not gonna survive without electricity in the short term. That may be why in Southern California they’re destroying ancient Joshua trees to build a monster solar farm. The logic of this is deplorable as well as ridiculous, but perfectly fits the narrative of climate change. They say that unless they build the solar farm, the trees will all die from climate change anyway. In other words, we have to kill the trees to save them. You couldn’t make this shit up. Now, if I hear anyone talking about this garbage, I either switch off of turn the volume down. If you’re talking about NetZero, climate change, or renewables, as a serious alternative to what we’ve been using, you’ve failed at life. You’ve failed as a human being in fact.

Beavis and Buttheadverse
We see this all day long though. World leaders, leaders of nations, talking about this stuff like it’s real. It’s unreal. Currently the Australian governing party, the Labor party is arguing with their opposition as to who has the best energy policies. Labor wants renewables, and the Liberals want nuclear. These idiots have shut down most of their cheap energy sources because of “muh climate change”, only to sell coal to China and India who don’t give a fuck about clean air, and don’t have to subscribe to the global warming Paris accord shakedown.
The whole thing is so monumentally stupid that historians will be studying it 100 years from now. They’ll be trying to figure out how people lost their ability to think straight. That’s assuming that humanity makes it for another 100 years, which at this point is doubtful. Maybe we’ll all be living in a Metaverse while our AI overlords feed us the same bullshit that the (sub) human ones do today.

Will we all be able to sign up to a virtual Paris Accord with Zuck? Looks great.
Everyone should watch Forbidden Planet, 1956 American science fiction film about a group of space travelers who voyage to a distant planet to find out the fate of a spaceship that had been sent there 20 years before. They discover that one the survivors has been living there and studying the Krell, a highly advanced race that mysteriously perished in a single night 200,000 years before. A vast 8,000-cubic-mile underground machine, still functioning, powered by 9,200 thermonuclear reactors is the key to the downfall of the Krell. The message is that “humanity is not yet ready to receive such limitless power”. AI could present us with this same scenario, it’s absolutely not out of the bounds of possibility now. It’s a cool movie too.

As for the rest of today’s news, it’s all tedious and tasteless. I can’t be bothered with it today. I’m going to leave you with this X post which involves Marjorie Taylor Green explaining to Progressives how the Universe works. It’s a beautiful thing. She’s right you know.
