After the vile stabbing of children in Southport a few days ago, people have started to question why the police are reluctant to name names or designate this crime as a terror incident, when any sane person would recognize it as such. I watched some of the live streamed rioting from Southport yesterday afternoon. I found it quite entertaining. In London a similar protest sprung up, and the police enacted an order that if you were standing on the road you would be arrested. So much for free speech. The UK, far from being an Orwellian police state, is now exceeding expectations in that department.

Down on Planet Aus, the ABC has directed its propaganda machine into full on anti Trump hostility. There’s not even a semblance of neutrality in their US political reporting. Trump was at a conference yesterday and told the audience that when he first knew about Kamala Harris she identified as an Indian. He said that later on she did a turn and “became black”. Seemingly this outraged the ABC news department who felt it necessary to debunk this false (as they saw it) claim and prattle off some counter argument that Harris was in fact, partly black, and therefore black.
This was during the newscast mind you, and not in one of their inane political sideshows where every expert known to man (and woman) demonstrates their total lack of understanding of American politics. These filth are editorializing their anti Trump misinformation and calling it news now. It’s not surprising. Will they all resign when their current darling, Harris loses? They should. These journalistic failures have been gaslighting everyone since 2020. How long can they keep it up?

Harris is the dream candidate for Aussie progressives though. Though they really wanted Michelle Obama, Harris, now that she’s black, will do. She’s black, she’s a woman and she’s not Trump. That’s good enough. She’s like a black Hillary, and it’s her turn. To add context, someone I know recently posted a picture on Facebook of Harris exiting a record store with some albums she had purchased. The first comment was, “Great taste in music. I’d expect that from Kamala though. She’s a legend.” Someone else (a man) had the temerity to ask why she was “a legend”. A reasonable question I would have thought. The next person (a woman) to weigh in said, ” she is from San Francisco East Bay (Berkeley/Oakland)We are really cool here as is our taste in music. But better still an amazing compassionate very bright woman Will make this a truly great presidency bid imho “ . At this point the floodgates opened, and a torrent of posts started to appear.

OK, but believing everything the media tells you such as Biden legitimately won in 2020, and that Harris is “an amazing compassionate very bright woman” based on the fact that she shops for vinyl records, and is from San Francisco/East Bay, isn’t cult like at all. Noooo, that’s logic and reasoning at it’s finest. I lived in San Francisco for five years. There are some good people, but then there are some not so good people. It’s definitely not a good idea to attach “being from there” to your political resume. It’s Nancy Pelosi territory after all.

With Harris, progressive women and their compliant menfolk, it’s all about the struggle of the underclass, as long as that doesn’t include white heterosexual men. They’re the real problem. That, and climate change of course. I don’t recall seeing Harris’s views on climate change, but I have no doubt she’s going to do something about it.
