Yes people, the results of the poll are in and it’s a grand total of three votes…all cast by me. Why do I even bother? Why? Because I write this fucking thing for my own entertaiment, that’s why. In fact I’m not surprised, I wouldn’t participate either. That’s the kind of readers I have, they’re just like me. Who else would read this stuff?
It’s Monday and as usual on my way back fom Vermont I listen in part to NPR , looney central. Today’s kvetching took a definite theme which was “because Charlie Kirk was assassinated Trump is using it to shut down free speech”.
So in other words, even though some tranny loving nutjob actually killed an advocate of free speech, the idea that Trump is stifling free speech, (with no evidence by the way )is the most important issue today. Maybe they forgot all the times that they stifled and shut down free speech or speech they didn’t like? Trump was thrown off Twitter, and if that isn’t canceling free speech I don’t know what is. He was the sitting president at the time for fuck’s sake. A TV network cancels a poorly rating show by an unfunny left wing extremist so-called comedian, and it’s the death of free speech. The people screaming about this are pretty much beyond hope at this point. The mind rot has set in like the rotting cab corners of my Chevy truck. There’s no fixing it, the rust has to be all scraped out.
That’s what I did for most of the weekend. I’m no panel beater but I’ll give it a go. How hard can it be? After spending about $400 on a welder, a sawsall, the parts and various other shite, I’d have been better off taking it somewhere for a professional to do it, but it’s pound foolish and penny wise in this situation. I only punctured one finger on sharp metal, so that was a win.
Ah, there’s nothing going on. Israel is being increasingly isolated with many countries recognizing a Palestinian state. Putin and Xi should do it and then maybe Trump will get a clue. Russia is wisely staying out of it, and China has recognized Palestine since 1988. What they’re doing to these poor people is indefensible, and you might have noticed there is never an apology for any of it. That’s what we’re dealing with.
But I don’t wanna talk politics. There may be another Fortress session at the end of the week, I’m waiting on confirmation from Scott, the keyboard player. This week I’m going to edit some more of the Sunday session from a couple of weeks ago. My youtube views are half what they were three months ago, so I don’t know what is going on. Am I being shadow banned?
Is AI stealing all the viewers, or are people just not interested in anything I do any more? It’s strange, but I don’t know what to do about it. When you look at the absolutely souless, worthless garbage that garners millions of views on youtube, you know the deck is stacked against you. It’s rather good that I don’t really care one way or the other. Like everything else, I’m doing it for me. You’re welcome.
