Happy Monday,

It’s a quiet morning here. I don’t have anything pressing that I have to do. Eat breakfast mainly. One slice of toast and a cup of tea. I used to have coffee and a croissant, but coffee first thing in the morning is too much. Yesterday was a beautiful day, but today it’s raining and 60 degrees outside. There’s no wind at all. That’s enough of the weather report, although another hurricane is headed for the gulf. The news is boring. These idiots keep saying that the Presidential race is tight. No it’s fucking not. Have they forgotten how Hillary had a huge winning chance of beating Trump? The same bullshit is being touted about Harris.

These morons think that Biden legitimately won in 2020, so they are sure that Harris will win in 2020. Unless they cheat again, we’re going to see a bigger Trump landslide than 2020. Meanwhile people are obsessed with what’s happening in the Middle East. It’s not my problem. If I didn’t hear about the Middle East for the next ten years I wouldn’t care. “There will be no peace in the Middle East not now or ever”. None of these people want it. Their very existence requires that they are constantly at war with one another. Has nobody figured this out yet?

I really don’t care. I’m sick of hearing about it. I was just looking at the hurricane tracking. It looks like Milton could strengthen into a cat 5 in a worse case scenario.

Milton surged to Category 4 in less than a day. “On Saturday, a system in the Gulf of Mexico developed into a tropical storm. Milton became a hurricane by Sunday afternoon, strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane overnight, and surged into a powerful Category 4 with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph by Monday morning”. I got this info from USA Today. I might add that further on down the page it says, “As global warming heats up the oceans, experts say you can expect more.”

Experts eh? When USA Today was launched in 1982 ” critics derided it and referred to it as a “McPaper” or “television you can wrap fish in”, because it opted to incorporate concise nuggets of information more akin to the style of television news, rather than in-depth stories like traditional newspapers, which many in the newspaper industry considered to be a dumbing down of content.” Nothing much has changed then.

There’s nothing going on, and if there is it isn’t worth talking about. All the papers are focused on the one thing today. It seems it’s the most important thing in the world right now, which begs the question, who really runs the west? I don’t subscribe to any of it.

While we’re on the topic of “things that don’t exist” The British government led by Keir Starmer has pledged nearly £22bn for projects to capture and store carbon emissions from energy, industry and hydrogen production. It said the funding for two “carbon capture clusters” on Merseyside and Teesside, promised over the next 25 years, would create thousands of jobs, attract private investment and help the UK meet climate goals. Yeah sure, what exactly is Carbon Capture?

Maybe they could build a giant greenhouse down there? Green leaves use energy from sunlight through photosynthesis to chemically combine carbon dioxide drawn in from the air with water and nutrients tapped from the ground to produce sugars, which are the main source of food, fiber and fuel for life on Earth. Studies have shown that increased concentrations of carbon dioxide increase photosynthesis, spurring plant growth.

Carbon dioxide – It’s what plants crave! Let’s store it underground. Good luck!
