A study published in the Nature Portfolio Journal warns that Australia’s soil is becoming a net carbon emitter and threatens to ruin the country’s net zero goals.
“They claim that over the next 80 years, Australian soil … will release up to 100 megatons of CO2 into the atmosphere” I told you three days ago that they were fucking crazy down there. How much more proof do you need? The author of this Alice in Wonderland lunatic study is an Hispanic looking dude by the name of Professor Raphael VISCARRA ROSSEL. He ‘works’ at Curtin University in the School of Molecular and Life Sciences. His qualifications are BSc Hons, PhD.
Looks like he could be Zelenskyy’s cousin.
The picture (above) of the esteemed genius that came out with this idiotic idea was from a website calling itself “ARC Training Centre for Healing Country”. I’m not sure what the hell it’s about, but there are a lot of professors and doctors who are engaged in the healing process. The ARC also has other issues that they are addressing. This is the mission statement on the Socioeconomic page.
“The Socioeconomics Research Theme’s focus is the quantification of the cumulative economic and commercial benefits derived from an Indigenous Restoration Economy, including measurement of labour, wages growth, employment statistics, productivity, savings in welfare payments and ongoing investment in local and regional enterprise……… In addition, calculations of economic multipliers associated with applied skills training, individual employment, and enterprise opportunities to assist in the assessment of the direct and indirect impacts on government support payments and linkages between social and civic infrastructure and social and economic resilience.”
Is there anything they haven’t covered in this nonsense wall of text? It’s laughable gobbledygook, but this is what taxpayer money is funding. Handouts for professors and doctors to fix problems that require convoluted explanations. (It’s complicated, you simply wouldn’t understand)

This ARC website is a treasure trove though. I simply couldn’t leave it…It doesn’t actually say what “ARC” means on the website, but I think it is part of the Australian Research Council. The mission statement on their website says, The ARC’s purpose is to “grow knowledge and innovation for the benefit of the Australian community through funding the highest quality research, assessing the quality, engagement and impact of research, and providing advice on research matters”. Ah, so it’s a place where researchers and opportunists go to get government handouts then? It’s all starting to make sense now. All that “highest quality research” doesn’t come cheap.

There is another page on the ARC website called Ecohealth. It says, “The Ecohealth Research Theme’s focus is on the quantification of individual health and wellbeing benefits resulting from directly participating in restorative activities on-Country, and of the community health and wellbeing benefits resulting from the opportunities and outcomes provided by ecological restoration, reconnection with nature and enduring business. In addition, assessment of the economic benefits resulting from ecohealth approaches to public health and community wellbeing.

What is this ‘country’ thing. What the fuck does it even mean apart from it’s obvious reference to Aborigines, the land that they claim to have an unalienable right to forever and beyond? How much money do you need? 50 million? Here, have 80 million, you might run out of funds.
It looks like this organization is headquartered in Western Australia. It figures. WA was one of the most Orwellian places to be found during the fake pandemic. It became known as the “Hermit State”. After 697 days of closed borders the idiot premier, Mark McGowan finally allowed triple vaccinated people in. Of course this did nothing to stop the spread of what was essentially the flu. McGowan eventually left office, as did just about every other state premier in (the) country who oversaw and mismanaged to hell that shit show called covid.
Before I left the “ARC Training Centre for Healing Country”, I tried to find an image of some full blooded Aboriginal people there, but if there were any, they were overwhelmingly under represented to the point of non existence. Welcome to Country!

ps I went out this morning and apparently there was an earthquake in Jersey that was felt as far away as Albany NY.. Because the roads are so bad here, I totally missed it I guess. Driving on some of these streets feels like a 7.0 mag quake at the best of times. NYS Emergency Management was right on it though. Earthquakes rarely happen around here. I feel somewhat robbed of the experience.
