These dumb fucking brain dead looking drawings of generic diverse and inclusive groups of people are as annoying as shit. In general, I think the whole art of cartooning and animation has become degraded over time. The old time animators would throw up if they saw what passes for animation these days. It started with South Park, and continues to this day with “Bluey”. Fucking Bluey is like a plague on the face of the earth. This low effort, garbage, ugly, and badly drawn crap adorns children’s clothing, toys, games, food and god knows what. It infests the entire world now.

In case you don’t know, Bluey is an Australian animated preschool television series. It was created by Joseph Brumm, an Australian animator, director and writer. Joe has definitely monetized this monstrosity to the hilt I would say, it’s probably on the moon by now. Bluey won a Peabody award honor, the radio and television industry’s equivalent of a Pulitzer Prize for the most powerful, enlightening, and invigorating stories in all of television, radio, and online media that year. What came second? It must have been something from the depths of a further hell. The only reason I’m talking about it, is that this visual pollution is everywhere. You can’t escape it.
Fucking Bluey
If I never see Bluey in this universe or the next, it will be too soon. It’s even worse than the dumb cartoony things I began taking about at the start of this. In my opinion the animation in Bluey or lack of it, is shit. It’s a visual eyesore. It’s like the homeless version of animation. Fuck Bluey, I’ve got a migraine now just thinking about it.

Yes, the wind is driving me nuts, too. If it’s one thing I can’t abide it’s wind, especially the freezing cold type, which was what is was like today. I had to go out and buy some stuff, so that sucked as well. It’s been a very cold winter so far. California is looking good, very good.
Today’s topic is cartoons, so let’s finish up with what’s all the rage over at 4chan, Ghibli’s. It’s a style of drawing that comes from a Japanese animation studio based in Koganei, Tokyo.
