Jeff and Lauren get married. Rebels without portfolio show up. The two on the right will be doing it right after the protest. Facts.
the ice maker in the fridge clogged up. When it’s this hot it starts to melt in the chute and the fucking ice gets stuck. I have to pull the whole thing out and empty it, and start over. Sucks man. Big problems here as you can see. There’s a currently heat wave in the Northern Hemisphere.
Of course the brain dead morons are screaming about climate change. Next year when there is no heat wave they’ll still be screaming about it, despite all indications that this is just normal seasonal weather. It will never stop (the screaming that is). Like the autumn leaves that fall every year, the climate change people will be screeching about it until they die. It’s more predictable than the climate change itself, which as every sane person knows, doesn’t exist.

Having said that, it’s 77F inside and the outside thermometer has ceased to function. That’s 77F with an air conditioner running at full blast, I’ll have you know. We’re coming up on the July Fourth this Friday. The National Weather service tells me that Independence Day will be 84 and sunny. It doesn’t say “July 4”, it says “Independence Day”, that’s how big of a day it is.
Last night I watched an interview with Rod Stewart prior to his taking the stage at Crapstonbury. Rod is very affable and says he’s never been happier as a performer. Half the band are women and they have so much fun on the road, especially after the gigs where they just all hang out, drink and dance and party. Sounds great Rod. Is everyone vaccinated? Let’s take a walk back down memory lane shall we?

“The musician, 76, has received three Covid-19 jabs and admits those who turn down the chance of a vaccine make him ‘angry’. He branded so-called ‘anti-vaxxers’ as ‘killers’ for not taking the vaccine as they are more likely to catch and spread the virus. Sir Rod told Times Radio Drive host John Pienaar: ‘It makes me angry, especially in America where they talk about “It’s my right, it’s my freedom.” ‘No it’s not! Because you are a killer, and you can be killed.’

Gary just sent me this. I may as well throw it into the mix as well
Like Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl, etc etc, all of these jokers were vehement big pharma vax shills, banning, calling out and vilifying people who refused to take the mystery jab (which didn’t work) for a simple cold, to go to their stinking shows. The internet never forgets. I’ll never forget, and when one of these creeps appears in the media to promote their bullshit, I’m gonna remind people what they did. I watched Rod’s concert later on and he has trouble hitting the higher notes quite often. The crowd loved it regardless. What ever you can get away with pal.

MRNA Vaccine and mask promoter Dave Gruel spotted without a wedding ring. Gasp!
Let’s not dwell on the negative, for we’re only in the second day of the working week. A few weeks ago I bought a cheap SG copy. I have liked the Gibson SG (which stands for Solid Guitar) shape for a while. This one is light blue and was made by Firefly whose instruments are highly prized for their affordability and quality. The only thing I didn’t like were the pickups, so I bought some Burstbuckers which are made by Epiphone to replace the very muddy originals. I hate doing any kind of luthier work, I even hate changing strings, but I managed to install one pickup in the bridge position. It’s still not right, but it will sound good when I can isolate where the noise is coming from.

It’s a hack job, but I do like the color.
I realize this is not very exciting content, but that’s what going on here today. Ricky the drummer is still AWOL. I haven’t heard from Jon this week, but the weather has been shit, so I’m happy not to play or rehearse until the weather improves. I may even revive the Sharkey, Gazza, Scott, Far Out Band for some new recordings in the fall. Whatever happens, it will be something good, I have no doubt.
Let’s revisit the great January Jam
