from Ocean State. It has to be my favorite store in the history of the world. I had to get some oats, but the ones they sell are expensive compared to the regular supermarket. I was forced to buy “Bob’s Old fashioned Regular Rolled Oats”. You can see why they’re more expensive because there’s more fucking words in the description. I don’t know who BOB is but he’s slowly creeping into every place where you buy packaged food. I’ll have to go to the Oracle (Wikipedia) to find out who this bearded Bob is. It tells us, “Bob’s is an American brand of whole-grain food marketed by employee-owned American company Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods of Milwaukie, Oregon.

The company was established in 1978 by Bob and Charlee Moore, early adopters of the whole grains movement, when other suppliers were making more money by making faster, cheaper products.” I’ll leave the link to Bob in the description. It turns out that Bob died last year. He was 94, so that’s a pretty good advertisment for his whole grain regime I would say. I found this part interesting, “After briefly retiring to learn to read the Bible in its original languages, Charlee and Bob ended up opening up another flour mill in Milwaukie, Oregon, that became Bob’s Red Mill. (Charlee was his wife) I wonder if Bob is any relation to *Dinty Moore? Seems unlikely.

Enough of Bob. He’s omnipresent now, having transcended the condition of being a mere mortal. Bob has achieved God-like status via whole grain goodness. I’ve got nothing to talk about. I haven’t seen nor heard from my band since last year. They’ve gone AWOL. I’ve got plenty to do anyway. It’s not like I have a desperate need to pick up a guitar and play it loud for an hour or more. I’m gonna post some video from a Go Wild in French show that we did somewhere in Prahran I think it was.

The Carlton Arms – probably played there. They all look the same.
I’m guessing because I’m not 100% sure. I played many venues in inner city Melbourne and they all kind of roll into one. It was fun and raucous, that much I do know. The sound is not that great and the video is shot from a fixed camera at just one angle at the side of the stage. You get two songs here. The Wonder Of You and about 30 seconds of I’m Gonna Take Myself Hostage. The line up included Paul Gadsby on bass, Pierre Jaquinot guitar, Vivienne Gay on vocals, Yasmine Shoobridge on keyboards, myself and the drummer, I think his name was Brad and the other female vocalist I can’t for the life of me remember right now. She was a lovely girl though, as you can see. She’s the one closest to the camera.
Good Day
