know what day it is. Yesterday I said it was Thursday June 18th. I had the date right, but the day wrong. Today is Wednesday June 19th, I’m pretty sure. I was watching Morning Joe this morning and I found out that there is a new “silent majority”. These are not conservatives though, they are anti MAGA people, and presumably they are going to decide who the next president will be. Interesting… I also found out that Joe Biden is the most patriotic president since…… forever. Joe is so patriotic that in order to save Democracy from the MAGA (Make America Great Again) menace the Democrats had to to kill Democracy to save it.

It’s very entertaining, and now that I can watch it without the stream falling over every 2 minutes, it will be my morning TV viewage until further notice.
Planet Australia’s ABC have sunk to new lows, even though I didn’t think it was possible. Yesterday I was watching a story sent from the frontlines by some Aussie chick. She was on patrol with Ukranian soldiers who are using drones to fight the Russians. Without any warning whatsoever, we got to witness two people being blasted to bits from above by bombs that were released by a drone. It’s apparently ok to see a person being killed in real time as long as they are “the enemy”. The real enemy is the ABC though, as anyone with a functioning cortex can attest. The news also came yesterday that the Coalition ie, the Liberal and Country parties, plan to build seven new nuclear fired power plants should they be elected (which they most probably will be) in the next term.

This sounded like an excellent idea until we got into the details. These “reactors” as the ABC called them. (it sounds so much more scary) will be built on, the site of “old and aging coal” fired power plants. They love using that phrase “old and aging”. Everyone gets old and aging eventually if they live long enough. If white people are old and aging power plants, then we should replace them with new and shiny migrant reactors from elsewhere, right?
Renewables are a better idea. We know how what large families these people have, but I digress. Why not just fix the old and aging coal power plants? That would have to cost less wouldn’t it?* That can’t be done because of “muh climate change”. It’s the religion of globalist, godless progressives/communists. Let’s sell all that nasty stuff to China and India, who are building coal fired power plants weekly.

Politics down under is just one endless, idiotic merry-go-round.
China and India are ‘developing nations” so they don’t have to abide by the Climate Accord rules. Australians are signatories to that shakedown, and so we have the lucidrous situation where Australia with very low “emissions”, pays climate indulgences to the UN while shipping coal to countries that don’t pay a penny, and contribute largely to the imaginary global warming.
But it’s a religion, you can’t question it. What are you, a heretic? I challenge anyone to sit through 20 minutes of a news broadcast on the BBC or the ABC and not hear some mention of the religion of climate change. It’s comical.

The other thing to mention about the Coalition and their ‘scary’ reactors is that that the first one is due to come online ten to twelve years from now. That’s right, it’ll take more than a decade to build these things. Are they having a laugh?
That these people are monumentally stupid and incompetent should be glaringly obvious to everyone, but there must be something in the water down there that fogs the brain. The real answer is that there is no choice. Want to get elected to public office? Run on the opposite of the policies that the political class are proposing. You’ll win in a landslide. NIgel Farage is doing just that in the UK. July 4 is going to be an interesting day in Old Blighty this year.
* The estimated cost of constructing a nuclear power plant varies widely, ranging from $14 billion to $30 billion however, depending on the output of a coal fired power plant, the cost is significantly lower. IOW, seven coal fired plants could probably be built for the cost of one nuclear fired plant.
