on not doing much today. Most of this journal will be screenshots and memes, most of which come from no longer obscure Himalayan basket weaving forum. The forum is becoming mainstream and many people say that it has spilled over into major social media platforms such as Elon Musk’s X. I can verify that because I’ve seen it happen and see it every day.

Without satire where would we be? It’s one of the few weapons we have left to deal with the global hegemonic menace. It seems there’s no stopping it outside of this country and rest assured, it will be back with avengeance when the conservative elements of this side of politics are out of office.
The left here in the USA appears to be morphing into pure communism, which is fine I guess, if that’s what you want. Nobody really ever wants it when they find out what it actually entails. In the past to be granted entry into the United States you had to swear that you had never been a member of the communist party. The day may well arrive when you have to swear that you are a member of the communist party, the way things are headed.

Today I’ve got a pain in my left shoulder but that’s nothing new. I’m gonna say it’s weather related but it’s also probably due to the exercise that I do on a regular basis which involves those parts of the body. It’s all about maintenance now. At some point you have to start looking after yourself if you want to keep living in the manner you’re accustomed to. The benefits far outweigh the sore shoulder, but nobody is interested in any of this apart from me, and I’m even boring myself now with it.

This morning on the BBC there was the usual alarmist screaming about the unprecedented heatwaves in Britain and Europe, and of course our old and dear friend climate change. It’s worth pointing out that communism loves climate change for it’s a control lever that nobody can switch off. If humans are responsible for the climate (which is utter nonsense), then there are all kinds of controls on people that can be deployed in the fight against it. These rotten bolsheviks can force you into all kinds of behavior modifications.

The guy on the left of the screen is the BBC’s climate reporter. He’s a certifiable nutcase in my opinion.
They’re doing it now. People can’t have gas stoves in many places any more. Forget about your oil heaters and the good old briquette heaters that warmed everyone in the depths of Melbourne winters back in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. If you do a search on whether or not you can buy briquettes down under, it will tell you yes, sure you can. These “briquettes” are all made of wood now, so that’s bullshit, but it’s no surprise at all,, since pretty much everything is bullshit.

Some history – “By the 1980s–1990s, he majority of urban households had switched to gas or electric heating. (by design most probably) In 1993, the Morwell Power Station and Briquette Factory in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria, was privatized and transferred to Energy Brix Australia *.

Coal is clearly barbaric!
This facility was the first Government Business Enterprise established under the State Owned Enterprises Act, marking the beginning of the privatization of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV)’s industrial assets In in 1993 the sale of the briquetting plant, and the industry became increasingly unviable.” No more briquettes for you. That’s your government for ya. Always breaking things that are fixed.

There’s no “tuning” anything with electric stoves. They’re shit.
Ok, so coal burning heaters may not have been the greatest for the air quality, that much I get, but now you can’t even have gas. It’s all “renewables” all day long. If you’ve ever tried cooking things on an electric stove you’ll know what I’m talking about. That’s truly barbaric.
Good Day
*Following the shutdown of the briquette plant and power station, Energy Brix Australia Corporation underwent administration and liquidation.
The demolition of the site was completed in April 2021, after which control was handed over to the Victorian state government for remediation (No information about who owned this entity seems to be available on the internet)
