I’m waiting

for band practice to start. I guess these cats will be here within the hour. It’s all a bit vague, but hey. At least I don’t have to go to some sweaty venue to play music. I watched something on the ABC last night called “Creative Types”. Jimmy Barnes was the featured creative-ture. Barnsey has been on almost all of these ABC fakakta “creative” people shows. He always say the same stuff, and so we learn nothing new.

He’s not shilling for people to take the vax, so at least we can be grateful for that. I don’t know what’s up with the Chisel keyboardist and songwriter extraordinaire, Don Walker. He looks like some old guy that should be sitting at the end of the bar nursing his fifth beer. These shows are supposed to showcase the great talent of people like Barnes, but Barnes isn’t the only horse in the barn.

How about talking to somebody else for a change? I fully expect Nick Cave to be the next musician in line, in between, actors, painters and God knows who else the fickle finger of fate points to in this mediocre excuse for a show. It’s always the same drones that are way past their use by date. The fact that I’m watching it shows how little there is in the TV world of entertainment available down there. They’ll never talk to me, that much I’m sure of. I’d happily eat them for breakfast anyway, so it’s not gonna happen. It’s raining this morning, but it’s a bit warmer at least.

The boys have just showed up, so I have to go downstairs and turn everything on……..

Now that it’s finished, it sounded pretty good if I say so myself. I’ll edit some video and maybe post it on Friday. Speaking of Post. From the NY Post, Britney Spears has been busted for DUI in Ventura County out there in California. Britney at the best of times seems somewhat unhinged. Her manager, Cade Hudson, told Page Six in a statement that he hopes Spears’ detainment is “the first step in long overdue change.”

He continued, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law. … Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.” The legal limit for BAC in Cali is .08, Brit says she was only .06, so you’d have to be pretty plastered to get officially intoxicated.

I love America.

Good Day

Why, Don? Why?
