tomorrow’s journal today. I’m kind of stuck here at the moment so I may as well do something useful. I doubt that much will change between now and tomorrow anyway. If it does, I will update it. This morning I saw that some radio presenter had been sacked for criticizing the Australian women’s soccer team, the Matildas. “Comedian Marty Sheargold and the Triple M radio program bearing his name did not go to air on Wednesday after he and the station were forced to apologize for comments he made about the Matildas.
Sheargold on Monday, said he “would rather hammer a nail through the head of his penis” than watch the Matildas play in next year’s Asian Cup.” Oh no, you can’t say anything bad about women down there, he should have known better. They’re such snowflakes that they’re beyond criticism. Like the “First Nations People”, and the LGBTQ+tax crowd, they’re sacred and holy. If they play a lousy game, you should be sympathetic, you sexist, chauvinist swine.

The screeching was deafening, “Federal Sport Minister Anika Wells called the comments “boorish, boring, wrong” while Beau Busch, head of Professional Footballers Australia, said “it is important such ignorance does not go unchecked”. “Marty’s comments were disgusting, pathetic and deeply misogynistic, showing a complete lack of respect for women’s sport and football as a whole.” I guess nobody will dare to do that anymore.
Women are worthy of respect no matter what a lousy game they play. Nobody has ever criticized a women’s sporting team in the history of the universe. Oh wait…. “Matildas interim coach Tom Sermanni has delivered a scathing assessment of his team’s “un-Australian” performance in a humiliating 4-0 loss to Japan, saying the shocking display was a “huge wake-up call” ahead of next year’s AFC Women’s Asian Cup.”

Let’s remind everyone that the Matilda’s captain, Sam Kerr only last week was on trial for damaging a taxicab and racially abusing a white policeman in the UK. Somehow she was acquitted. I doubt that if the situation was reversed the court decision would have been the same. The ABC wants you to forget about that and focus on an evil white male comedian instead. Nothing’s funny for these chicks. They have no sense of humor. Hell, I’ll say it. They have almost no fucking sense at all with this stupid talk.
The Matildas will always suck as a team with this as their captain.
