of stupidity. The market’s up, the the market’s down. Who cares? If you can’t afford to lose the money you invested in the Stock marche you shouldn’t be in it. It involves risk. I don’t care. I haven’t looked at it since Trump’s Day of Liberation. It’s been like a yo yo since the stolen election, that’s the truth. The markets hate uncertainty, well they’ve got certainty now. The tariffs are going to stay. Let the globohomo puppets and donkeys scream about it more, it’s entertaining.

The TDS is off the charts over at the Age

In other news, I’ve got three cars now. I have to sell one of them, there’s no room in the garage. My ancient BMW (it’s 14 years old..ancient) has got to go. It’s in pretty good shape apart from a couple of issues, but somebody will buy it. Get in before the tariffs hit! The last car I sold was a 2004 Ford Explorer a few years ago. I had bought it at an auction. I went along to this event which was held in a huge dealer car lot locally. I have seen a couple of vehicles online that I was interested in, so I rolled up with my bidder’s number and waited in the crowd for what I wanted to buy to show up under the hammer.

I was probably only there for about half an hour when one of the vehicles I thought I might buy, came up on the auction block. It wasn’t my first choice, but I thought I’d make a couple of test bids, just to get the hang of it. The bidding started at about a thousand bucks, so I held up my sign and put in a bid. That worked, so I kept going.
It got up to 25 hundred so I thought, “one more bid then I’m out”, It’s probably going to sell for more than that. My bid took it to three grand, and then nobody bid after that. The auctioneer looked at my bidding card (it was upside down) and with difficulty said “sold to number 144”. He had to twist his head to read it.

All of a sudden I was the owner of a 2004 Ford Explorer. They were going for at least twice the price on the used market at the time, so I got a real bargain. It was so easy, I almost couldn’t believe I’d just bought a car. They stopped having auctions a while back, so I was never able to snag a good deal like that again.

Buy here, pay here. Where else would you go?
The Explorer was an ex police cruiser, very reliable and built like a tank. I ended up selling it about 10 years later for 2 grand to a chick who was having some real life problems. She had looked at a few Explorers before mine that sounded like real junk boxes, and she needed a reliable car to get to works and to visit her children down south, among other things.
Mine was about the same price, but in much better condition. When we drove it over to her place so I could take the plates off, she was so happy to get it she burst into tears of gratitude poor thing. It was a good day for everyone..
