today. The pond liner that I ordered is out for delivery, Trump is in China and there is a leadership challenge for Britain’s Labour party. The pond liner is the more interesting item for me as you can understand. I also have some wifi adapters coming from China but they haven’t landed in this country yet. I should have asked Trump to bring them back for me.
I’m going to pick up my T Bird guitar this morning. I will give a review on it tomorrow perhaps. Tomorrow may be a band rehearsal so I will be able to test it out. It’s raining today. It’s quite cold actually. The weather station here is not showing the outside temp. Perhaps it needs a new battery?
I was reading about the Australian government’s latest budget yesterday, and someone had made up this info chart about where a lot of the money was going. I can’t verify that it’s true or accurate because I’m too lazy to check it for myself, but if this is real, it’s quite alarming.

They appear to be heavily focused on “hate speech” and what they call “social cohesion” whatever that is, as well as Aborigines and women, women, women.
Shouldn’t they be helping the average citizen to navigate the financial crisis that they have themselves enabled through their abject fiscal ignorance and stupidity? If all of this is true, who would have voted for this? It’s literally insane. “$27M to make migrant workers follow the law?” What the actual fuck? It’s a very strange document, but then Australia is a very strange place these days. This government won’t last, but be assured that it will be replaced by one that’s probably just as bad.

If you look at what’s going on, the British Commonwealth is on life support it would appear, but I’ll have a newly constructed pond in my side yard here, so it’s not all bad news. Yesterday a reporter asked Trump what advice he would give Starmer. Trump told them that Starmer should start drilling for oil. “They have some of the best oil in the North Sea and they’re not using it,” he said. He added “He (Starmer) is windmilling himself to death.” I couldn’t agree more.
Dog shit O/S Windows decided to upgrade itself yesterday without asking anybody. It was stuck on this screen for a very very long time. This could be a metaphor for the Commonwealth.
I know I shouldn’t talk about politics, but here I am doing it. Shame on me. The truth is nothing much is happening here at the moment so I’ve got to talk about something. I won’t be getting into any deep philosophical discussions either. I’ve listened to some of that stuff and it’s mostly a mind merry go round.
Nobody really knows what’s going on with our limited understanding of the cosmos. If we were that smart we wouldn’t be shelling out millions of dollars to combat so-called “hate speech” because people are asking questions about why certain things are happening in the world. The truth will set you free.
