TGIF and all that. It’s been a whirlwind week in the news. Maybe less of a whirlwind week for me. I’m largely immune from what goes on outside this place, thank God.

As if they didn’t have enough laws banning free thought, here are some new ones for ya…”The Australian government has strengthened hate crimes legislation, bringing in mandatory minimum sentences and creating new offences for threatening force or violence against an expanded list of “targeted groups”.
The Criminal Code Amendment (Hate Crimes) Bill 2025 passed with bipartisan support on Thursday, legislating minimum jail sentences of 12 months for displaying a Nazi or terror organisation symbol or performing a Nazi salute, and six years for terrorism offences.” Hmmmm, I wonder who those “targeted groups” might be. Let’s see, who hates Hitler the most? Who are the “Islamaphobes”? At this point you have to ask yourself who actually runs Australia?

I wouldn’t want to be accused of “Hate Think”. Australia is a place that’s run by a very stupid and incompetent Uniparty. Glad I’m not living there anymore. It’s largely jumped the shark, although there are still pockets of sanity. They need to kick these bludgers to the curb and start over. Some idiot politicians think they need to be a Trump like figure. Changing your name by deed poll isn’t the way.
Ah, I don’t care. At some point sanity will prevail or not. It’s entirely up to the people. Do they like being slaves or don’t they?
