It’s Friday again

Got it on the fourth step! Your turn  Special:Random

and I’ve had a very busy week. I’ve still got stuff to do, it never ends. I can see myself getting regular Eboo* treatments in distant years so I can continue to do all the crap that I have to do. I’m sure that’s what’s keeping ghouls like Nancy Pelosi, Willie Nelson and George Soros alive when they should have long ago said hello to the grim reaper. The only problem for the rest of us is that this is an expensive procedure. I can envision a future where the super rich can live forever, while the poorer majority have to kick the bucket because they can’t afford Eboo or whatever replaces it.

I have no doubt something like this will eventuate

The Diddler trial continues on next week. It’s getting kind of boring now listening to the degenerate details. Remind me again why we hold these rappers in high esteem? Diddley seems like a very insecure individual. The idea of going to such lengths for sexual gratification seems comical, to me anyway. Whatever man, he’s gonna need a good imagination if he gets sent away for a long time.

“Downtown kitchens in Nashville shuttered over the weekend to avoid immigration agents in at least three locations. At the instruction of managers, restaurant employees without legal citizenship status left the premises at The Diner, Honky Tonk Central and Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse during a primetime rush on Saturday night to avoid detention by ICE agents. Locations, already struggling to provide full service, suffered through at least Sunday due to fears from employees who did not want to risk arrest by returning to work.”

What does Kid Rock think about this I wonder? Nashville is lib central. Maybe it’s Progressive Patriotism in action? Could be.

Toot toot Tootsies

I don’t really like the place much. It’s cold in the winter time and it’s kind of haunted. Tennessee is pretty much a red state but like Austin, Texas. Nashville is haunted by progressives. I’m not gonna live there probably ever, so why should I care? All these fucking storied institutions like the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Asshole Hall of Fame etc etc, are just a bunch of industry types getting together and deciding who they think is great.

I have no idea

In other words, mostly record company people and the industry weasels that attach themselves to it. It’s the artists who sell the most records that get rewards, to put it bluntly. Nobody is interested in someone who is obscure, doesn’t sell records, and doesn’t have a huge following. It’s a business after all, not a contest about who has any talent. Talented people are in these halls of fame of course, but there are equally talented people who aren’t in them and never will be. Not mentioning any names here.

Proof!

I’m totally bored with this journal today. Suddenly it’s gotten really humid, like 84% outside and 60% inside, so I don’t think I’m going to write much more until next week. I can’t think of anything I want to talk about. If I keep going, it will be cutting and pasting stories, while interesting, isn’t very creative. See you next week.

Neil and Dazza

Today’s song about climate change comes from former Canadian Neil Young and Crazy Horse. “The official music video, created by Young and his wife, actress Daryl Hannah, features scenes of the band performing the song at the mountainside recording studio, Studio In The Clouds, located in the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, Colorado. It also shows scenes of entire populations coming to a standstill as the world deals with an unprecedented crisis.” Oh, hell no it’s the Covid bullshit.

Happy Friday

*EBOO, or Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation, is an advanced therapy that purifies the blood, enhances oxygen delivery, and supports the body’s healing processes, particularly for chronic illnesses and infections.

Today’s song about climate change

Shut it Down ...yes I agree. Stop singing about crazy stuff for the love of God.

Have to shut the whole system down
Have to shut the whole system down
People tryin’ to save this earth
From an ugly death
Have to shut the whole system down
People tryin’ to live, working
In a world of meat factories

Have to shut the whole system down
All around the planet
There’s a blindness that just can’t see
Have to shut the whole system down
They’re all wearing climate change
As cool as they can be

Have to shut the whole system down
Shut it down, shut it down
Shut it down, shut it down…(there’s more but it’s just more of the same)
