the second last day of August.

It’s a long weekend coming up, and Monday Sept 2 is Labor Day, called the “unofficial end of summer” because it marks the end of the U.S. culture’s nominal summer season. Many take their two-week vacations during the two weeks ending Labor Day weekend. Many fall activities, such as school and sports (particularly football), begin about this time. You’re not supposed to wear white after Labor Day either. The unspoken rule was created by the old money elite, hoping to elevate themselves above the nouveau riche, or newly wealthy.
Those with enough capital to travel during winter and fall wore white as vacation attire, meant to signal an air of leisure. But those who stayed in city centers generally remained in dark clothing for the seasons after summer. Ok, got it. What I’m looking forward to is the church yard sale on Sept 7. This is usually huge and packed full of good stuff, none of which I need, but some of which I will acquire. Last year I bought a bread maker and discovered in an accompanying recipe book, a section on how to make marmalade. I had no idea it was so easy. I was continually searching for good marmalade for years.
I can now make my own, which is superior to anything I can buy in a shop. I had some this morning. That purchase cost me all of five bucks as I recall. A couple of years ago I ordered a home gym (really just a bench press), and it was delivered to me twice. The post office wouldn’t return it and the seller never contacted me, so it’s been sitting unopened in a room all this time. I wanted to donate it to the yard sale, but they don’t accept exercise equipment. Maybe the Fire Dept will take it. I like their yard sales too.

As the 2024 presidential election looms closer and closer, I’ve noticed that every single social media post about Trump or Harris is now being flooded with anti-Trump comments. It’s so obvious that these are bots or a paid army. It has been reported that the Harris campaign have empIoyed 150 volunteers to scour social media and respond to anything related to Harris. I’d say it’s at least twice that amount. You can spot them a mile away. The comments are always retarded and/or very nasty.

They’re both fucking stupid beyond redemption. The jokes are writing themselves today. Is this guy an idiot or what?
I don’t use X much, or social media per se any more. Ever since Faceberg allowed someone to hack the account that I had for 20 years, I’ve lost interest in participating. It’s not that I haven’t told them multiple times that I didn’t change my password, ever. They know I didn’t, but they simply don’t give a fuck whether I get my account back or not. They want me to upload my passport to “prove” who I am. They can get fucked, they’re fucking assholes. I hope the whole thing falls over, and Zuckerberg gets hauled before congress to explain all the money he’s still giving to NGOs that want to put Harris in the White House. The guy is a dysgenic weasel in my opinion

“Educate your wife with beatings”…uh oh
The memes and images that you see on this page are ones that I have harvested this week from an obscure Mongolian basket weaving forum that I often visit. They don’t have any particular relevance to what I’m writing about today. I found them amusing, so I thought I’d share them. I particularly like the one below, and anyone who has lived in Australia will recognize the “checking of the bags” that goes on all day long whenever someone visits a supermarket or store. Way back in the past when they started this nonsense, I would refuse to let them check my bag. I’d always say, “I haven’t stolen anything today, but I’ll be back tomorrow to steal stuff”. This kind of threw them off. I’ve experienced a lot of vile behavior dealing with these people, but then Australia is a land full of petty thieves. It’s probably in the DNA.

I know people steal things and it’s getting worse. The more low life scum that are invading across the southern border in this country from low trust societies, the more we’re going to see criminal activity.

What could possibly go wrong here. Right?
When I lived on the other side of the world, I was used to having everything stolen that wasn’t nailed down, but I don’t want to see it here. Remember, Progressivism means we can’t have nice things any more. It’s a global movement to turn the world into a giant shit hole
Happy Friday
