the space tourists are back, the war that wasn’t supposed to be is still happening and I’ve just completed a band rehearsal. I have to take one of my vehicles to the mechanic for an 80K mile service and it’s not gonna be cheap. Oh well, if you want nice things you have to pay. It would be nice to not have gas at $4 gallon. I thought we had our own oil? Why is it expensive? Oh, that’s right, the thing that makes the world (multi national corporations) is the culprit, globalism. At least it will cut down on the global warming if less people are driving their cars. I was gonna say “gas powered” but as well all know electric cars use electricity which just comes out of thin air. Fuck this gay earth.

I went up to the old farmstead on the weekend. Of course this year again the plumbing was broken as it always is thanks to the horrible winter. The plumbing in that place is like the street wiring in the Philippines or India, a big fuckin’ mess. It’s been added to and fudged together over and over again for many years. The kindest thing would be to pull it all out and start again, but I’m not doing that. I don’t like doing any of this shit. I just want to play guitar. Unlike Jeff Beck, I’m not interested in fixing up old hot rods, fiddling with engines or working with tools.
Are the two things related?
I’ve only just had breakfast although I’ve been up for hours. I have to cancel my current internet provider since they just put the price up by $20 a month. I don’t get anything more, it just got more expensive for no reason. Competition is great here. I can get almost the same speed elsewhere for about $50 less. I don’t do online gaming and I don’t stream corporate garbage. I don’t like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Apple and I fucking loathe Disney, so I don’t need one gigabit a second for any of this literal excrement. The less TV slop one is subjected to the better. Look at where this onslaught of garbage has gotten us. No wonder Iran can’t stand the West. It’s an open sewer of degeneracy. I’m starting to see their point at this and every other point.
Ah, it’s not what I want to be talking about today, but I don’t have much else to report. The best thing for me to do is go and edit some of this great rehearsal and throw it up on Youtube. I’m well aware that Youtube is another internet monolith, and that’s the problem. Everything has to go through people like Google. It’s a monopoly and there’s no viable competition. I could go to Rumble, Vimeo, Flickr or Dailymotion but they don’t have the reach of Youtube. Maybe I’ll try some alternatives anyway.
Views on my videos have dropped dramatically, and I don’t really know why. I’m doing exactly the same thing. It’s a rigged game, the whole thing, I’m sure where instead of quality, garbage now rises to the top. There is a an unhealthy abundance of AI generated content on Youtube right now, and it’s being effortlessly pushed with algorithms that know exactly how to target specific audiences. You know it’s AI generated because there’s always some unholy mistakes in there. It’s like the devil just can’t wait to get out and start wreaking havoc on the world.
