It’s President’s Day

and the gas boiler stopped working. I think it’s either the gas valve or the thermocoupler. The latter is the cheapest repair and in fact I replaced it myself a few years ago. This time I don’t wish to be bothered with any of it, so I’ve asked someone else to fix it. It’s 57 degrees in here, but I do have an electric heater. Presidents’ Day is officially Washington’s Birthday. George Washington was born on February 22, but his birthday is celebrated on the third Monday in February ostensibly to allow for a long weekend. It’s called Presidents Day because Lincoln, who never had an official holiday to celebrate his birthday was born on February 12, so they’ve kind of joined the two together. Fortunately there are some businesses open today, so maybe if we need a new boiler valve, we’ll be able to get one.

Time will tell I suppose. Political activist Judge Tanya Chutkan has scheduled a rare holiday court hearing on Monday, in a case brought by Democratic state attorneys general seeking to protect major federal agencies from Elon Musk’s government cost-cutting team known as DOGE. Oh, quel surprise! This is one of these Obama judges that stand in the way of everything that the American people voted for Trump to do.

Savage without the beard which he’s had forever. He looks weird now.

This is what Wikipedia says about Tanya, “As of August 1, 2023, Chutkan was the judge overseeing Trump’s criminal trial over his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, culminating in the events leading up to the January 6 Capitol attack.” No political bias there. Shittypedia needs to be vetted for left wing bias. That entire entry is a dishonest portrayal of what actually happened. This also from Wikipedia, “Chutkan has overseen the trials of more than 30 defendants in cases related to the January 6 Capitol attack. According to The Washington Post, she has been the toughest sentencing judge in those cases, ordering at least some jail or prison time in all cases, and sometimes exceeding the sentence recommended by prosecutors.” Sounds like a real nice person…not.

I’d rather look at a bale of hay than a picture of Chutkan.

Who can forget what Chutkan said when Trump pardoned the people who were thrown in jail on these bogus charges, many of whom were given harsh sentences and to add insult to injury were lectured by this rotten individual. ““On that day, ‘a mob professing support for then-President Trump violently attacked the Capitol’… the dismissal of this case cannot undo the ‘rampage [that] left multiple people dead, injured more than 140 people, and inflicted millions of dollars in damage’” she wrote. “It cannot diminish the heroism of law enforcement who ‘struggled, facing serious injury and even death, to control the mob that overwhelmed them’… it cannot whitewash the blood, feces, and terror that the mob left in its wake.”

Yep, it’s the “feces” judge. Washington is lucky he’s not around to witness this revolting display of ignorance, bias and progressive activism, but then in Washington’s time we wouldn’t even be here. Other judges in the Jan 6 cases “typically have handed down sentences that are more lenient than those requested by prosecutors. Chutkan, however, has matched or exceeded prosecutors’ recommendations in 19 of her 38 sentences. In four of those cases, prosecutors weren’t seeking any jail time at all.” Let that sink in….As broadcaster Micheal Savage would say, “The stench from the bench is making me clench.” I agree.
