but it’s raining, so I’m writing this the day before that I would which would be a Monday. Nobody cares. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of hearing about anything to do with the Middle East. If an asteroid hit the place, I woud be relieved. None of this shit has anything to do with me, and I don’t wanna know about it. Come to think of it, if an asteroid hit the earth and wiped out 90% of the population, that would probably be a good thing. Actually 100% woud be better. It’s been raining all day. I almost got the greenhouse finished, but then it got dark and I got tired. Tomorrow I will get it done, I’m fairly sure.
The weekend has been uneventful, but that’s the best way for things to be. “Events” are usually annoying. It’s Cinco De Mayo today. It’s a Mexican holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. I have no idea why Americans would want to celebrate this. Do the Mexicans celebrate Britain’s 1982 victory over Argentina in the Falklands War? Good luck looking up any of this stuff on a search engine. History is probably being rewritten as we speak. These are “events”. You see how annoying this stuff can be? I was trying to find the story about the Zulu battle that they made movie about starring MIcheal Caine, where a small group of plucky British soldiers defeated 4,000 warriors. It was called The Battle of Rorke’s Drift.
We could all do with a cuppa right now.
The first thing I got were stories of the great Zulu victories. One was The battle of Isandlwana in 1879 – in which a force of 20,000 Zulus annihilated a British contingent of 1,800 men. Ultimately Britain took control of Zululand, which you would find out if you read the whole thing to the end. At the top of the Microsoft “Bing” search page you will find this information. “The battle of Isandlwana in 1879 – in which a force of 20,000 Zulus annihilated a British contingent of 1,800 men – became a symbol to black South Africans that white domination was not inevitable.” The only trouble with that statement is that white domination was the end result. Nothing like adding an anti white political statement to the top result for a search engine. These fucking search engines expect people to trust them to be unbiased, but they’re not.
Who doesn’t want a rape free India? Rapists, that’s who.
Let’s look at South Africa and white domination. Actually, let’s not. Aparthied was so bad that now they can’t feed themselves. How about everyone stay in their own countries from now on? Let’s see how that works out. That includes the Middle East too. How hard can it be?
There’s a schizo thread over at 4chan right now talking about something called a CULEBRA EVENT. Apparently there is a gridlock in the tectonic plates in Latin America. The theory is because of the recent lack of volcanic activity in this region, it’s going to trigger a catastophic event. (not another one).
Oh great. I’m still gonna finish my greenhouse. Fuck you.
