and the Maine killer is still at large. Yesterday’s entertainment was watching the police stake-out of the guy’s house. 5,000 cops were parked outside for hours, yelling through megaphones for him to come out. They had armored vehicles, ambulances, catering trucks and god knows what, yet they were all incapable of going inside to actually see if the guy was in there. There was even a 20 year old Bell helicopter from the New Hampshire state police circling the house for hours. Your taxes at work. The killer is still on the loose.
It’s a joke. They’ll never take our guns away at this rate, and they shouldn’t because when we need the police, they seem to be all sitting in their cars having soup and chowder, while they decide what they’re gonna do. It’s entertaining at least. Meanwhile, the leaves are all turning yellow, red and brown here. It’s a spectacular sight. They even run special trains so people from NYC can get out of their cramped apartments and look at the foliage. As pleasant as it is to look at, it only means that winter isn’t far away. I think it might even snow on Wednesday. The temperature will drop 20 degrees in less than a week.
I’ve almost finished editing the Halloween Special. It’s pretty good, I think. But then I think most of what I do is pretty good. This is also why I refuse to play cover songs in my band. Why should I? My songs are as good as ones that people know. They just don’t know mine yet. You’ll see…. I was just looking at my alternate news source, and the ABC Australia website has a page with the headline “The latest COVID-19 news and case numbers from around the states and territories”. Is covid still a thing? Apparently so. I had to check if it wasn’t an archive from two years ago, but there it was, October 27, 2023. Here’s an example..
“There have been 469 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Tasmania, up from 355 cases last week. There were nine people admitted to hospital with the virus this week, with two in intensive care. Tasmania has recorded 315 deaths since 2020.” In South Australia, the state recorded 1,069 new COVID-19 cases in the week to October 25. As of October 24, it had 62 patients in hospital and two in intensive care.“
What is going on down there? It’s not even flu season! The more I read about this stuff, the less I want to go there. It appears to be an insane asylum overseen by the incompetent, the delusional and the mentally ill. They’re still talking about “Covid”, even though nobody has been able to isolate a lab sample of what we’re led to believe really does exist. We have fragments of a “virus”, that’s all. It’s the flu, dummy.
Apart from the covid madness, this website has a wealth of news and information. “Australian media personality Abbie Chatfield has announced she will not be co-hosting the national R&B concert tour Fridayz Live 2023, citing in her Instagram statement that it was because of an “active lawsuit involving the headline act, including an allegation of sexual harassment”. Oh no! The story goes on to say that, “The headline act for the tour is US singer Jason Derulo, who was recently named in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 5 by singer Emaza Gibson. Gibson has accused Derulo of sexual harassment, intimidation and breach of contract.” Why is this individual still headlining shows? Anyone interested in this should be able to figure out the answer for themselves.
