and I’ve been talking about this for a while, but my argument that Aussies think they know everything about US politics was fully validated by a piece in last week’s Age. I’m just gonna post screenshots of this because I can’t be bothered copying it all out.

This is literally what they think down there. They are convinced they know more than I do, even though I’ve lived here for 20 plus years.

“Were better informed than the average American” NO YOU ARE FUCKING NOT. Unfortunately all the Aussies know is the progressive side of politics, which they are certain is the way that everyone thinks. It must truly baffle them that Trump, who they have been told is a racist, criminal, felon etc etc, is still popular. They simply can’t comprehend that anyone in their right mind would vote for Trump.

“The emergence of Walz, an image of positive masculinity in a world that appeared to have forgotten such a thing was possible.” Oh my God, these people are insane. Walz as an image of positive masculinity? The same masculinity that requires tampons to be placed in school boys bathrooms? Masculinity that turns the state you govern into a sanctuary state for sexual mutilation of children without the consent of their parents? That masculinity? The crack must be really strong down there.

In case you’re wondering who wrote this irredeemable drivel of an opinion piece, it’s a miserable British “journalist” by the name of Nick Bryant . He’s a former BBC reporter (which means he’s really special) who lived in the the US for a while, until as he said, his kid came home from school one day and said she had been doing a school shooting drill or some such nonsense. Poor Nick freaked out and ran down to Australia, where he was welcomed with open arms. Now he spends his days writing anti Trump pieces for the Fairfax media empire. His stuff is always slanted to the extreme left, but I have to thank him for writing that stupid story, and validating what I’ve been saying about Australians and their vast knowledge of Geopolitics. You just can’t make this shit up.

Why the long face Nick?
They’re all going to be confused when Harris Walz don’t win the election, but than they probably think Russia stole the 2016 election from Hillary, and if Trump wins again, it will be Putin that made the steal. They’re just that fucking stupid. Other than the people who know what’s really going on, most Aussies who even care about it, think that the US is just like Australia, only bigger and louder.
I know, I used to think Bill Clinton was cool for getting BJ’s from his intern in the White House. It’s infantile thinking. I get it. America is not a cartoon show. It’s not “Planet America” that you can mock and snigger at. Americans are far more polite and respectful than Australians are. If the average American knew how flippant and dismissive they are of the way we live here, they would be very disappointed. Take the log out of your own eye before you start being critical of us.
Happy Labor Day.
