I have nothing to talk about, but it won’t stop me. I think that the diabolical Democrat Convention is almost over, but I’m not sure. I haven’t seen any of it since the first night. It’s a fitting segue into this next story though. They have found a fifth body in the superyacht that sank last week. There were 22 people on board, and fifteen people were rescued. The yacht sank after a small waterspout spun over the Mediterranean island, likely capsizing it. The owner is one of the missing, which goes to prove money can’t buy you safety if nature decides it’s time for you to go and visit Davy Jones locker. The origins of the name of Davy Jones, the sailors’ devil, are unclear, with a 19th-century dictionary tracing Davy Jones to a “ghost of Jonah”.
Davy Jones, according to sailors, is the fiend that presides over all the evil spirits of the deep, and is often seen in various shapes, perching among the rigging on the eve of hurricanes:, ship-wrecks, and other disasters to which sea-faring life is exposed, warning the devoted wretch of death and woe.

It sounds scary kids. I don’t wanna talk about it any more. Halloween is coming up in a few weeks and I still haven’t decided whether to do a Halloween special with the band or not. I might even replay one of the old ones. It depends on how I’m feeling about it. I like to go forward, not back. Rick, the current drummer is a Halloween character without even trying, so it might be better with him. People are always asking me if we play out anywhere. The answer is always no for now. I’m quite happy to never play in public ever again in fact. It’s a lot of work for not a lot of return. When I see huge crowds going apeshit for the most inane garbage, I think, why should I bother? Everyone can watch it on Youtube. You get a better view, and it’s on demand. I’ve recorded hours and hours of these rehearsal/performances. Most of it hasn’t been aired publicly either.
I need more subscribers. Again, when I look at Youtube I see some imbecile demonstrating a dumb guitar pedal and the guy has 50k views! I can’t compete with that. Some other clowns are doing a shitty cover version of a shitty song. 50k views. It could demoralize some people. The most views I’ve had recently were for a song called Dear Heart, a different version of which I’ve posted before.
This one got about 800 views in about four days. Was it a terrific version? Not really. Most of the songs I publish on Youtube get about 100 or so views, and it takes a couple of weeks. This one had a thumbnail of a naked women lying prone with her top half on a bed, her ass on a chair and her foot on a vanity. Sex sells. If I do a Halloween special this year, I’m going to get a sexy broad to read the jokes in between the songs. Nobody cares about the music, they just want to see flesh. It’s a sad commentary on society today.
