and I’ve just been watching the UK and Norway’s defense ministers doubling down on stupidity. Now that Trump has revealed to the world the real reason for the Ukraine/Russia war, the man behind the curtain has been revealed. It turns out that it was Joe Biden (and the people who control him) who started this whole mess by insisting that Ukraine join Nato. This was in clear violation of a long standing agreement that had been in place for quite a while.
One begins to wonder if they did it deliberately to start something with Russia. Back in 2021, Russia was looking to end the conflict, and Boris Johnson was dispatched to Ukraine to put a spanner in the works. These two morons were invoking the great statesmanship and resolve of Churchill during the second world war, as well they should. Churchill did the same thing. World War Two should have never happened, but Churchill (and the people who controlled him) put an end to any peace talks that Hitler tried to initiate.
So you see, nothing has changed. Instead of Hitler we now have Putler, and the same characters are running the same game play. Why are they doing this? That’s for another day.
Because this all goes back to the stolen election I expect that it will eventually dawn on the lugen press that they might want to stop their narrative that everything was legit and above board in 2020. I’m not holding my breath however. I’m sure there are experts who could explain all of this in better detail, but as far as I know this is why we’re in the mess that we’re in today. Some people are very keen to start World War Three, and that’s disturbing. Given that World War two is still ongoing, it’s not surprising in the least.
That’s enough of that for now. In other news my bass player has gone AWOL. I hope he’s ok. I haven’t heard from him for over a week, and that’s unusual. Being in a band and trying to keep it together is like herding cats. Musicians come and musicians go, for reasons known only to themselves. I can’t say I’ve ever been just a band member without any say in it. The Pete Best Beatles for about two shows I think. In a lead, follow, or get out of the way scheme of things, I’m leading. Someone’s got to do it. One of the reasons bands break up is that there is often a power struggle between two people and their vision of what it should be. A dictatorship works better a lot of the time, but then a democracy can function too.
The Slaughtermen were a kind of a democracy, although almost all of the musical choices were mine. Most of the other bands I’ve had were like that, only slightly more dictatorial. So what? At this point in today’s journal I’m just going down a road that’s going nowhere, so I’ll stop.
Trump has shitcanned NY governor Kathy Hochul’s ridiculous traffic congestion fee, and that’s a good thing. Maybe I’ll consider driving into the city once in a while. The Geo Washington bridge toll is about ranges between $15 cash and $10.50 with an Ez pass depending on the time of day. That should be enough with out adding more. Progressives have never seen a war or a a toll they didn’t like.
