and the ice keeps piling up on the front porch. It’s dripping down from the roof as the snow melts during the day and turns into an ice sheet on the front porch by morning. It’s just great. In order for the mailman to not slip over and break his neck I have to remove it before the afternoon delivery. That’s becoming tedious but that’s what I gotta do. This is the banal existence of a February winter in the North East. Hawaii looks good right now, but then Hawaii looks good most of the time.

Yesterday I took my car to the car wash. The first one was jam packed but the second one wasn’t too bad. I opted for the diamond wash, which puts a protective coating on the car so they say. Who knows? A painted sign with a light flashing on it appears in the wash tunnel that says, “Diamond Coating” or something like that. I guess that means it’s going on. It wasn’t too far removed from a cheesy ghost train in a flea bitten traveling circus to be honest. There were so much suds and soap that I felt like I had had a bath along with the car.

$1.25 must be the Diamond wash
I’m glad it’s done because the salt that they put on the road, does not agree with vehicle metal. Every second truck around here has galloping rust because of it. The truck itself is fine, but the body is being eaten away by rust. It’s horrible to look at. You have to ask yourself why don’t they make it so that doesn’t happen? It’s a very good question.

Today there is supposed to be band rehearsal, but we’ll see. It was scheduled for yesterday but Rick texted me that he was going for a job interview. I have no idea what the job was. Working for ICE? I doubt it. Every single person around here hates ICE I would imagine. Some of my Instagram friends would ban ICE and SNOW if they could. I made up the SNOW part, but I think there should be one. We could just ban fucking snow and I would be happy with that. I hate snow and ice too, for that matter.

This is one of the more inane daily journals of all time, but I don’t have anything to say. Since I’ve stopped talking about politics, the field of discussion has narrowed somewhat. It’s ok. If you’re here on a daily basis, you’ll just read it and go about your business. I do care, and I’ll make it better. Tomorrow will be more interesting I’m sure. It couldn’t be worse than this.
Good Day
