has returned from the dead to promote a meme coin. Who isn’t promoting meme coins? Trump has one, even Melania. There are so many crypto coins out there now, they can’t all possibly be successful. It’s the wild west of crypto, and suckers are born every minute. I have crypto myself, and I bought it several years ago. I’m still in the red by about 500 bucks, so no I’m not expecting to make a fortune. McAfee’s coin is called AIntivirus. I won’t be buying any soon, although I liked his style.

It’s Friday and I have a big (ger) band playing some tunes here on the weekend. I’m bringing in another drummer and a keyboard player. It will be fun. Patrick the old drummer came by today and insisted that we swap out most of Rick’s kit with my old “circus kit” as he calls it. I was against it at first but it actually sounded better afterwards. Not that Rick is a bad drummer, it’s just that different people play drums differently. I dunno, it’s not the same as swapping out an amp, which nobody has requested..yet.

I have so much fun doing these Fortress sessions that it’s hard to think why I would want to leave the house to play in front of a bunch of drunks somewhere. I know it’s not always like that, but I don’t want to start from the bottom again. Why the fuck should I? I have complete control over my environment here, and I can multitrack everything. If I go out the door I can’t do that.

It’s Friday and nothing is going on. It’s been a very cold week, but next week will be slightly warmer. At least my car starts up now without a jump start. I don’t know what else to say. The UK Guardian had a ridiculous front page yesterday which said Trump’s J6 pardons were based on a “revisionist myth”.
This is apparently the opinion of a couple of federal judges. One of them, Beryl Alaine Howell is an Obama appointee. The other one, Tanya Chutkan, is the US district judge who presided over Trump’s (mythical) election subversion case. She too was appointed by guess who?…Yes, our old friend Barry Soetoro.
