I looked at yesterday’s journal and some of the images weren’t loading. I dunno what the problem was, but I hope it’s not happening today. It was fine when I posted it, so I have no idea. The weather is getting warmer, but it’s going to get cold on the weekend. I was thinking about going somewhere where it’s warmer, but I haven’t decided on it yet.
Yesterday The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved a rule that will require some public companies to report their greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks. I was watching the ABC “Business” program this morning. A woman named Zoe Whitton, who is the managing directer of Pollination, “a specialist climate change investment and advisory firm, accelerating the transition to a net zero”, was being interviewed. Obviously this is a company that stands to gain financially from this bullshit. She was talking about about this ruling and how it would affect Australian companies. She seemed very smug about it, considering that the entire basis of what she was talking about doesn’t exist.

People with double barreled names…one of the “Team” at Pollinator.
I know people like this. They’re irredeemable harpies of the current thing, and no amount of facts or evidence you can show them to counter their narrow belief system, will change their point of view. You can see it on this woman’s face. (pic below) It’s that look of “I know I’m right, and I’m winning because you losers aren’t as smart as I am.” It’s also the look of a five year old who has suddenly discovered that mommy will give them everything they want just to stop them screaming. Like a modern day Typhoid Mary, she doesn’t so much pollinate, as infect every living thing with this destructive, grotesque climate change narrative.
That’s the problem with these shows that purport to be about something that they’re not. It’s not a show about business, it’s a show about politics where grifters come on and push their insane economy wrecking narratives in order to enrich themselves. Pollination, of course is a non profit company, although Zoe and everyone else profits handsomely from it you can be sure. The Pollination Board of Directors is a DEI wet dream as you would expect. The “Team” is all women with the exception of one fellow who goes by the name of Samim Hoshmand. His qualifications include that he was the “National Ozone Officer implementing Montreal Protocol and Vienna Convention for over 5 years.” I’m so impressed. These are the same clowns who demand that you stop driving cars, eating meat and having children. Keep that in mind.

Zoe sees dollar signs. Everyone else sees a scam and higher energy prices.
Australia seems to be about six months to a year behind us here in the US. They’re still talking about EV’s as if they are a viable alternative to ICE vehicles, which is what they are calling cars with internal combustion engines now. I suspect that’s just another way to put a negative label on something that progressives want to demonize. “Oh, you drive an ICE vehicle, how primitive!” The dude that was talking about it on the show was a realist though. He said the mass introduction of EVs in Australia faced a lot of hurdles. He’s right you know. Here’s an interesting statistic from a website calling itself Evadoption.com, “US sales of electric vehicles are expected to increase significantly this decade, however, by the end of 2030 EVs will still comprise only a tiny percentage of vehicles in operation, and the number of internal combustion engine vehicles will actually increase by 20 million.” Oh no. Btw, I have no desire to “adopt” an EV any more than I want to adopt a rescue Pitbull. No thanks.

Pollination – “helping everyone navigate the climate transition” Everything is a transition now. Your money to our bank account.
This is all horse shit today. I need to start editing some video from yesterday’s band practice. It’s band practice I know, but sometimes you get something that’s worth putting on Youtube. We’ve talked about playing out, and I think it’s going to happen eventually, but for now everyone at home gets to enjoy it, no matter where you are. I probably won’t have time to make videos if we do start playing somewhere other than the Fortress, so enjoy it (or not) while you can.

Only a handful of states still prohibit open carry, but eventually they all will allow it if the current trend continues.
Before I post this, I just read that the South Carolina Senate just passed a measure will allow adults eligible to own a handgun to carry it in public, openly or concealed, without a permit. It now heads to the desk of Governor Henry McMaster, who has pledged to sign it into law. Oh yeah. I can’t wait for the screeching from progressives. One of the things I would love to do (which will never happen) is take a couple of Aussie coppers to New Hampshire in my truck where I’m not legally obligated to wear a seat belt, and walk around with a handgun in my waistband. I’m not going to do it of course, I don’t own a handgun for a start, but I’d love to see their faces!
