John Thune has been elected as Senate Majority leader. The Uniparty lives, but how long is it sustainable? Some Trump allies questioned whether Thune’s past public criticism of the former president following Jan. 6, 2021, could be an impediment. No, how could it be? With allies like these people, who needs enemies? Let’s see what this guy does, maybe he’ll be not so bad as Mitch McCrapple. Anyway I don’t wanna talk about this stuff, it’s annoying. If you want to hear anti Trump stuff, it’s on NPR 24/7. I don’t think these people are interested in making America Great again or ever. As disgraced former New York governor Mario Cuomo said once , America was never really that great begin with.

She’s the North American correspondent for the Age and SMH, so presumably she lives here in Washington. Yes Farrah’s a real piece of ….work. I wish these people would just piss off. People don’t talk to me in Australia because creeps like this have poisoned the well against Trump ever since he declared he was running for president in 2015. They spread fucking outright lies and disinformation about everything.To say I have low opinion of “journalists” such as this would be complimentary. What I really think of them is too much for even this journal. My contempt for them is off the charts.
But enough of this. Let’s talk about nice things. It’s a nice day today. A bit cold but bearable. I might be able to get in some band practice tomorrow. I want to start using more keyboards in songs. What I really want is a keyboard player, but they are scarce around here. People aren’t even playing the piano any more. Yesterday I saw three pianos for free on Craigslist. One of them looked like a really nice baby grand.
It’s still advertised today. What would Rachmaninov do? Liberace? When Hochul bans all the gas stoves people could use it as firewood I guess.
