He is an advocate for stronger Church action against climate change, stating in a November 2024 seminar that “dominion over nature” should not be “tyrannical”….Someone should tell him there is no such thing as frickin’ climate change, and that it’s a UN hoax and therefore the work of the Great Deceiver. If he doesn’t understand that focusing on these “things of the world” are scripturally wrong, his opinions on anything else at this point are essentially questionable.

In other news, my “good” car got a $300 oil change yesterday so I hope I don’t need another one for a good 12 months. It depends how much I drive it I suppose. There’s nothing going on. The weekend is almost here. I’ll probably go north for a couple of days, who knows? I’m getting bored with this neck of the woods. I don’t like the seasons. I hate the pollen and the associated allergies which seem to be getting worse.
I read something yesterday that in the UK they are experimenting with trying to dim the sun to mitigate climate change.
Dim the sun? What could possibly go wrong?

No shit. “Other scientists say geo-engineering could reduce the drive to stop burning fossil fuels (sic), which (according to crazy people) is the root cause of climate change.” The UK has put aside $800 million pounds of taxpayers money for this madness.
