On July 29, the Welsh singer-songwriter’s wife, Cici Edmunds, took to Facebook to detail the moment her husband of 40 years “died” in her arms before medical professionals miraculously resuscitated him. This is happening a lot now. We don’t know Dave’s vax status but it’s consistent with what we’ve seen countless times since the fake covid pandemic crisis forced people into injecting a mystery substance into their bloodstream that failed to cure anyone and failed to stop others from getting it.

To be fair Dave Edmunds is 81 years old, so age may have been a factor here. The 81 of 30 years ago isn’t the 81 of today however. I don’t know, I hope he’s gonna be alright. As I write this I have just seen a story about another rock star who this time didn’t make it. Mark Lanegan, solo artist and vocalist of Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age, has died at 57. I don’t know much about this cat, and there’s no information about what killed him, so who knows?
I do know that Johnny Topper and I years ago, thought it was hilarious that there was a fundraising concert being held somewhere in Australia called “Rage For Trees”. I tried looking it up but all I got was “raging for trees” which is not the same thing. Back then in the early 80’s there were “Rages” for everything. Rage For Whales, Rage for Peace, Rage for the Planet, etc etc.

Now there’s no rage, nor outrage although quite a few thousand people marched down under on the weekend raging for Palestine, although they didn’t call it that. It was interesting to see Victoria’s storm troopers out in force defending the King St bridge from being walked on by filthy protestor. As aways, Police State, yay!
On 23 July, the Communist Party of Australia’s Melbourne/ Naarm Branch held a trivia night in solidarity with Palestine, raising over $500 for Union Aid Abroad. $500 bucks! What a triumph.
