Kids….it’s scary
asked me to look after her dog for the day. I’m neither a dog nor a cat person although if push came to shove, I’d probably choose cats because they’re lower maintenance. This dog is pretty small though, and has those teeth that jut out on the lower jaw. He’s a good boy, and he’s stayed here before. I couldn’t do this full time. It’s too much responsibility. That’s about all I gotta say about it. woof!
The weather’s turned to shit again, so there’s that. As you might know, I watch Australian TV a bit, partly because I grew up there and I’m continually alarmed at what’s happening, whilst being super glad that I managed to escape most of the soul destroying ignorance for the past 20 years. In the past three weeks since Trump started the process of “Making America Great Again”, again. I don’t think I’ve seen one positive article or story about him in the local media. It’s as if everyone down there took it up themselves to hate everything Trump all the time.

They loved Joe Biden, thought he was legit, cheered when Trump was declared a felon and actively hoped that he would be jailed. Now that horror of horrors, newly elected Trump and not Kamala Harris who they all thought for sure would be the next president, has stepped in to try and sort out the stolen election Russia/Ukraine mess, they seem to be doubling down on stupidity.
If I’ve heard that Trump’s a Russian asset once, I’ve heard it one hundred times. The political leaders don’t help themselves with this rhetoric either. They keep screaming about Trumps’s unfair tariffs and hoping for a better deal, while simultaneously telling everyone that Trump is crazy and deranged. The current US ambassador, Kevin Rudd is on public record saying he hates Trump, and they still think they’ll get special treatment?

The only person I’ve seen in the media who explained reasonably clearly what Russia’s ceasefire conditions would be, was John Lyons, one of their overseas political correspondents, and he has a severe case of TDS. Nobody seems to have listened to any of it. The dopey prime minister came on TV yesterday swaggering like a belligerent drunk in a bar, declaring that “Putin is a bully” and “you know what Australians do to a bully, don’t you?” No, I don’t know what Australians do to a bully. Vaguely threaten them with violence from the other side of the planet?
Look at the tough guys. I bet Pootin is scared now. It’s a fucking circus with these idiots.
It was cringe central, but that’s the entire theme of Churchill…I mean Starmer’s “coalition of the willing”. They’re doing everything they can to antagonize Russia by ignoring how this shit show started, and which is also why they are continuing to aggravate the situation, by talking about a fucking “peacekeeping force” in Ukraine. That’s how the war began. Starmer is trying to establish himself as some kind of great statesman, (“Let the guns fall silent”) by assembling his mutt Euro army, when in fact he looks and sounds like Captain Mainwaring in the TV comedy series Dad’s army.

If these clowns aren’t Jonesing for World War Three, they are certainly doing everything to promote it. All day long it’s saber rattling and bluster. None of them appear to be interested in a middle ground position. They’re completely ignoring the reasons that the conflict started. It’s all Putin bad, and by association, Trump bad, yet without Trump it’s not gonna work.
This morning on the BBC there was an unfortunate parade of stupid people trying to push the “Putin is literally Hitler” narrative. Unfortunately, three of them were women. It can’t be too long before they start handing out white feathers to all the young men in order to shame them into dying in a repeat of World War Three. If you thought the fake pandemic was bad, this demonic narrative dwarfs it by comparison.
If only you knew how bad things really are.
But they need the US to help out, otherwise it’s not gonna work. Trump, despite what everyone keeps telling (reassuring?) one another, is not stupid, and is not Woodrow Wilson who “after winning reelection in 1916 on the slogan “He kept us out of war,” had Congress declare war on Germany in April 1917, although neither Germany nor any of its allies had attacked or threatened the United States.

At this point if we aligned with Russia and China, we’d probably all be better off. Who needs this stupid warmongering nonsense? Starmer will deservedly end up like Mainwaring, with egg on his face if the US doesn’t take part, but then the current UK leadership seems unaware that nobody in their right mind takes the UK seriously at the moment.
