How many times has Mark Zuckerberg tried to flog these dumb glasses? This is about the the third or fourth time. Nobody, other than a small group of nerds is going to spend $799 for some goofy looking spectacles that do what? Whatever they’re doing, it’s not worth it. If people wanted this crap they would have adopted it by now in droves, but a fool and his money is soon parted. Zuckerbucks has got plently of cash so he can blow a couple of billion on this folly and no one will care.
I still don’t understand how Facebook, Instagram etc make any money. I’ve never bought anything based on an advertisment I’ve seen on these platforms. Same with Google. It’s a mystery. Selling people’s personal information is where the money is, but they won’t tell you that.
Oh no, Trump will think he’s King now
Trump is in the UK of course. He gets around like he’s the Pope these days. Slowly and graciously moving through the pageantry. This morning he said, referring to Charles, “This is a fine, fine gentleman…and a great King.” High praise indeed. The whole UK thing is somewhat of a dog and pony show. Without the carriages and pages and guards in bearskin hats it wouldn’t be the same. I’ve seen African countries trying to emulate this as well. Everyone loves a good parade apparently.
This morning I’m waiting for a tow truck dude to show up and take the BMW away. I was gonna sell it, but after looking at all the things that needed fixing, I couldn’t let anyone inherit any of that. It would be unkind. I’m donating it to charity, where at least I’ll get a tax write off. I’ve probably put 150k miles on the thing, but I just know something major will almost definitely go wrong just when I don’t want it to, so it has to go.
It’s become fairly apparent now that the conversation between the Charlie Kirk assassin and his boyfreind was AI generated, so where does that leave us? Why would anyone do this? The guy is not cooperating and nobody else is talking. Is he just going to get offed and case closed? The whole thing is disturbing.
I was happy to see that idiot Jimmy Kimmel get canceled yesterday. It should have happened years ago. Hell, he shouldn’t have even had a show in the first fucking place. None of them are any good. The whole “Tonight Show” thing is defunct. It was probably over when Carson stopped performing. Politics, as usual kills everything. As you can read I’ve got nothing much to say today. I can talk about this or that thing, but nobody needs my opinion. Tomorrow the new song, Playing in a Cover Band, premieres on Youtube. I’ll be lucky if 50 people watch it. It is what it is what it is.
