Chuck Norris was here but now he’s gone. Spring will always be here and Chuck will always be gone now. At least we have his movies. I can’t think of any that I’ve watched, but I’ll have to watch one now. It’s Friday, first day of Spring, and just for no reason at all it’s a lot warmer than it was yesterday. It’s uncanny how nature defies science sometimes. You know what kind of science I’m talking about if you read what I wrote yesterday.

Not only has Chuck Norris, Hulk Hogan and Robert Duvall left us this year, Penguin chocolate bars haven’t got enough chocolate in them so they can’t even be called chocolate any more. In the UK they’re suffering from Easter Shrinkflation. This is when food products like candy bars and in this case, Easter Eggs are getting smaller while the price is getting bigger. This have been going on for years now, and the TV news will do an outrage story on it, but nothing is ever done to stop it. Shouldn’t it be illegal? One would think so.

Love may be a human right as it says in this sign, (this woman was talking about shrinkflation btw) but I haven’t even had my breakfast yet. I couldn’t go to sleep last night, so by the time I did, it was 2 o clock in the morning and I slept in until 9.30. I’ve skipped first breakfast so I’ll probably cruise through to 2nd breakfast now instead. I have to ask the question, is love indeed a human right? What was this lady advertising in the background while she was talking about chocolate bars that weren’t chocolate any more? If you search the term on the internet this is what you get,
“The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is observed annually on 17 May to raise awareness of violence, discrimination, and repression faced by LGBTQIA+ communities worldwide.”
That was three days ago, so this person hasn’t taken down the sign yet. I would add at this point that I’ve never been afraid of Homosexuals or Bisexuals. As for Trans people, what is there to be afraid of?

Everywhere there is an agenda, but not here. I try to stay neutral but it’s difficult. I should talk about nice things like love. Spring is in the air and that’s when love traditionally blossoms so they say.
“I’m not in love, so don’t forget it
It’s just a silly phase I’m going through
And just because I call you up
Don’t get me wrong, don’t think you’ve got it made”

Love is a weird trick that nature plays on us to ensure that the species continues. I don’t understand it, and that statement doesn’t really encompass what’s involved because it’s far more complicated than that. Our brains are doing things behind our backs that we have no control over. It’s great feeling when it happens. Hunger is a great motivator as well, which is why I’m going to have to stop writing now. May you find love or have love find you.
Happy Friday
