is “more inclined than not,” to run for president. That’s the latest in the world of politics. “Politics often favors someone who is completely different to the current leader,” Pete said, before quoting his own description of himself as “an intellectual young gay mayor from the Midwest.” Oh great.
I was watching the BBC Media Show on the weekend when they were talking to The Economist’s editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes who did a sit-down interview with Elon Musk last week or the week before. She wasn’t that thrilled with how it went, particularly when Musk pushed back at her ridiculous claims that he was hosting white supremacy/Nazis on the X platform. “Your views are extremist views she screeched at him”.

Musk told her very politely that his views were perfectly normal and sane, which of course they are. Naturally she couldn’t deal with this truth bomb. The interview was farcical in as much as Musk accused her of living a cloistered life which she vehemently denied. In a perfect illustration of this Elon accused her of being an NPC. This is an internet meme that has probably been around for at least five years. (it’s actually ten years)

An NPC. Here’s the AI description, “The NPC meme (also known as NPC Wojak) is an internet meme derived from the gaming term “non-player character.” It depicts individuals deemed to lack introspection, critical thinking, or an internal monologue, behaving instead like pre-programmed video game characters who repeat scripted lines.
The meme originated in July 2016 on the imageboard 4chan, created by an anonymous user who asked, “Are you an NPC?” to describe people who rely on “buzzwords and hackneyed arguments” rather than original thought.”

The host of the show Ros Atkins said that he didn’t know what an NPC was either, which sums up in a nutshell how clueless these people really are. It’s “The Media Show”, but apparently they have no idea what’s actually going on in the media outside of their own closeted eco-system.

It’s all a joke, innit? It’s worth keeping this in mind when looking at the media for information. It’s just demoralizing propaganda thinly disguised as entertainment. That’s all.
