a new high today at $63k. Big deal. As they say, it’s worth nothing until you cash out. I bought some crypto a couple of years ago, and it’s lost some of it’s value since then. I lost interest in the entire thing almost the moment I bought it. I get emails constantly telling me if it up or down. I just delete them now. When you start into buying crypto you soon realize that it’s a gigantic casino. There are so many variations of crypto that it’s impossible to imagine that all of them will pay out. It’s largely a scam in my opinion. There’s just no “there” there. They all argue that theirs is the best, most robust and that it’s an essential part of some blockchain hierarchy or other, but it just sounds like bullshit to me. As I said, I haven’t made money, I’ve lost it. Shitcoin or Bitcoin if you will, (Shitcoin sounds better to me) is just an unobtainable thing that only the very rich can afford now. If you bought it in 2009, you might be fabulously wealthy, but any late comers are just going to be bag holders for those who want to cash out.

Then there’s the whole Bitcoin mining thing. It’s malarkey that I have no interest in. I don’t have much interest in anything in the news today either. I just looked at the SMH. This sounds like it should be satire, but I don’t think it is. “AFL players take cocaine just like a million other Australians. Get over it.” AFLM players take cocaine. Local footy players take cocaine. So do teachers, lawyers, doctors. Why do we so enjoy the stupidity of a young man in the public eye being caught out consuming it?” Cocaine is now as innocuous as smoking weed now? It’s just more demoralization. Doctors and teachers do coke, it ain’t no thing any more. Get over it. Australia is a weird place and getting weirder. For the record, I’m not getting over anything, so fuck you and your degeneracy. I’m grateful that most of this excrement is behind a paywall, otherwise I’d be reading it and getting more annoyed than I am already.
Mitch McConnell has announced that he will quit as Senate Leader. I read this yesterday on the BBC’s news page. Mitch isn’t quitting politics until 2027 though, so the whole thing is a load. The story went on to say that, “Mr Trump’s leadership has pushed Republicans further to the right, and he has regularly questioned the value of American military alliances and international trade.” This was my favorite bit, “He has also repeated false claims that he won the 2020 election “– a point of contention between him and Mr McConnell – and emphasized his desire to crackdown on immigration.

There’s the BBC gas lighting people about the 2020 election again. What are these fools going to say when it’s proven to be true? Crickets, most probably. The BBC news is regularly featured on NPR here, and it’s always delivered by someone who speaks with a perfect Oxford accent. On the other hand, when you watch the UK version which the British Public see you may very well be confronted with a creature who can barely articulate human words.
The BBC is a joke, as are all the state sponsored media outlets in the British Commonwealth, with Canada being by far the worst of the worst. It’s like they hate the people who pay their salaries. Yesterday we found out that the Supreme Court is going to punt the Jack Smith trial down the road to the point where it will probably get heard after the election. There was a lot of wailing on Morning Joe this morning. The barnacle said it was “Orwellian”. Coming from people who are certifiable, that’s not surprising.
