TGIF

has rolled around again. The long weekend is coming up, so it will be three days of excitement at the farmstead where I will have to fix things, mow the acreage and try and avoid getting bitten by the ticks will be all over the joint. I hate ticks and I hate squirrels as well as other things, but I’m not gonna say. Yesterday was uneventful. My new A/C didn’t cool the room at all because it was colder outside than it was inside. You really can’t cool cool air if your equipment won’t go below what the outside temperature is. It was frustrating to be sure. I’ll have to wait for it to get hot so I can find out if it really works at all.

It’s been a boring week actually. All I’ve done is manhandled air conditioners up and down the stairs here. I’ve installed three of them this week, and they’ve all been very heavy.
I’ve decided to leave the fucking things in the windows over winter now. It’s too much work to drag them in and out. I’m not paying attention to politics today, nor music or anything.
I’m going to talk about nothing. I’m one of these people who can sit in a dentist’s waiting room and just zone completely out, and that’s essentially what I’m gonna do here.
We’ll be in the eternal now until I’ve finished writing this.
I think with all this talk about aliens being real people should realize that we live in an interdimensional universe.

It’s funny when, as I heard this morning someone talking about how we should colonize Mars. What’s the point? This person also said that we’d be colonizing the moon first. Again, why? There’s no atmosphere on either places. What the fuck are people gonna do there? Mine for gold? It’s absurd when you realize that there are vast areas of this planet that we know very little about.

It would make far more sense and would be technically easier to build cities under the ocean. The ocean is teeming with life. There’s no light years of space travel involved to get there. People could live under the sea for years and come back to the surface fairly quickly. Imagine what we would discover at these depths. 70 % of the earth’s surface is covered in water. That’s most of the planet. Why go to the moon or Mars? There’s nothing there and the technology isn’t up to speed yet.

Instead of talking about aliens all day long why aren’t we getting hold of any of their tech that allowed them to travel here from whatever festering alien shit hole they came from?
The answer could be that they’ve been here all along, existing in one of the many parallel universes that I have no doubt are all around us.

Nobody came from far away. It’s all been here all the time. Humanity isn’t mature enough to take on the challenges of these things yet. There’s way too many stupid people getting born every day. It’s not getting better, it’s getting worse.
One can only hope that things will improve with time. What’s going on now is unsustainable.

Having said all that, the Memorial Day weekend is upon us. As long as there are good people to fight for what’s right (and “what’s right” is a tricky question, given that modern history is mostly bullshit) there’s hope for the human race.

I’m gonna take the old A/C that I replaced with the new one up to Vermont. A few years ago some clowns installed a heat pump system which worked for a while until it fell over. Nobody has been able to successfully get it going again, so I’ve washed my hands on the whole thing. I’ll stick with the good old fashioned window units until they get the heat pump tech right. It’s another green “save the planet” bullshit scam in my opinion. Works great in the summer, fairly poorly in the winter and breaks down far too easily. This old one that I took out is still going strong after at least ten years now.

Happy Friday.
