The ceiling is peeling and

there are cracks in the walls. This sounds like the opening verse of a song, but it’s just what I’m looking at in this room. I have to build a new desktop because the one I use to record music has outlived it’s usefulness. I don’t know what’s wrong with it, but it’s got to go. I have all the parts for the new one, I just have to put them together. My shoulder is hurting today, so I don’t want to do anything right now. I don’t know why it’s sore. RSI perhaps? I don’t know. I probably slept on it in a weird way. Anyhow it hurts like a motherfucker so I’m stuck with it for now. I was looking at the views for the Halloween Special. As of this morning, 24 views. I don’t know why I bother. The last video I posted had about a hundred in 24 hours. Who can figure how these things work? That was a song called “You Don’t Know (What It’s Like)”. I thought people might have mistaken it for the Bee Gees song “To Love Somebody”, but I don’t really know.

It’s not as bad is this.

It’s useless trying to figure out these things. You’re popular or you’re not. Clearly I’m not that popular, but I’m popular with me, and that’s the main thing. Last night, after arriving back from New England, the garage door wouldn’t open. Well, technically it opened, but only about five inches. I had to get out of the car and physically lift it up. It was 5 to midnight and it was still Halloween, so maybe it was the asshole ghost playing one last trick before the midnight hour. It has never happened before. On the way back the Vermont Roads Department had illuminated their traffic information signs with messages like “Drive well Vermont. Watch out for Ghouls and Ghosts”. I thought that was cute. Today is All Souls Day, also known as The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. This is where I could copy pasta a whole bunch of stuff about it and skive off from actually writing anything of my own here, but I won’t. A lot of churches observe this. There’s an entire Wikipedia page about it here.

It’s the Christian Church Day of the Dead I suppose. I wonder how many spooks inhabit this place? When you have a house as old as this you have to think that at least a few people passed into the next life from within these walls. I think the music room is some kind of ghostly portal in fact. The music has an unearthly quality sometimes. Something people would hear if they watched the fucking Halloween Special. Nobody cares though. They have to be told what to watch, listen to and think. Just watch the the news and realize people just parrot the bullshit that they’re told on there. Last night I stopped at the Burger King for the first time in probably a year. I had a discount coupon for a Whopper meal, otherwise I wouldn’t have been there at all. “Never pay full price!” It came with a large drink. I think it was about a of gallon coke in a huge container. I’m exaggerating, but it weighed a ton and I could only drink about two sips (maybe three) before I discarded it. No wonder people have Beetus. There’s a real pandemic, right there. The question is, do we put out jumbo sized drinks for the spirits or regular sized ones? I don’t know. I know nothing. It didn’t snow last night. That was good.
